Way before I was born, my parents couldn't bear a child. Both of them came from a wealthy background, had the best education they could get, found and fell in love with their true love, and have a happy and successful life ahead of theirs. Their life was seen and assumed to be perfect until they realized they couldn't conceive a child. They tried everything just to produce a baby, both natural and artificial ways. But nothing worked out quite well to produce a much anticipated offspring.
After years and years of trying, my Mom heard about this person. A woman who could magically perform any impossible task. Of course, all for an equal price to pay. Knowing that the woman would ask for money as a payment, my mother and her husband, my Dad, went to visit her. They told her their problem and that they've tried everything to solve it.
The woman said she could help them, and so she offered a deal. "I would take away the most magical thing a person can get from your second born, the power of love. The baby would not experience her true love. I would cut off the magical red string of fate on your second child's finger."
Mom was in despair; Dad did not know what to do, either. They were both against it, in the beginning. But soon, they realized something. They could outsmart the woman. Well, duh!!! They could just not have a second child. So, my parents went back to the woman's little cave and sealed the deal.
True enough, only after three months, Mom got pregnant to the most awaited child. After she had that baby, she asked the doctor to perform tubal ligation to cease the chances to have another child.
That lucky baby was named Felix Andrada - Ongpauco. He was raised full of love and attention by both sides of the family. Felix is the best child Mom and Dad could get, so they loved and supported him with all their hearts.
Until one day, after five years, Mom started experiencing morning sickness again. She went to her physician and there she was advised to visit another doctor. Apparently, she was referred to an ObGyn. Nervous and shaking, she did the tests.
Joke's on them, she's pregnant AGAIN. And there it was, the second child of the Andrada - Ongpauco clan. Unfortunately, that was me. I am Eliana Ongpauco, the cursed child.

I was riding the bus today when I came up to this story, so I'm still not really sure if this plot is worth writing for. Well, anyways, this "book" is still on the process of confirmation; meaning, I need to ask my sister if this would interest her.
