Smile! (Brothers Conflict FanFic)

Chapter One ~ Ema & Yusuke

Zombies start to walk towards me, they made horrid groaning noises, I step back holding onto my weapon which is a pistol.

I start shooting making sure I have enough bullets after every kill.

Having one more bullet and one more zombie, I aim.

I make sure I have my target in place. I fire the last bullet and it went right through the zombies head.

The zombie fell backwards.

"Level complete!" The narrator on the game says.

I drop my ps3 control on the floor and put my hands in the air "Yes! Finally!" I yell to myself.

I have been stuck on that level for weeks and now I finally completed it! At school tomorrow I will tell Ema what to do since she is stuck as well. We are happy to help each other out.

"Chiyo!" Mum yells from downstairs "Dinner is ready!"

Standing up I open the bedroom door seeing myself in the mirror in the hallway. I'm wearing yellow converses, a green tank top with denim shorts. My hair is a black in the shape of a bob with a fringe.

Running down the stairs I turn the corner only to trip over Cho. Cho meows at me walking in front of me smiling.

"D-Damn cat!" I demand and exhale and give Cho a hug tightly "I love you really Cho"

Cho is my white cat, a little chubby but pretty skinny for a house cat who hates leaving the house but loves to be lazy and get in everyone's way.

Standing up I put Cho down and enter the dinning room where my mum and dad sit. I have to say my family is pretty normal. Mum and dad are my only family because we never visit there's. If I had to come home one day and see my parents fighting I would defiantly go hide somewhere.

"Thank you very much" I say smiling standing up I take the plates from everyone and put them in the kitchen stacked up in the sink ready to be washed up by mum. I give Cho some of his tuna fish from the tin as well.

Going back upstairs I get back to my game and complete some levels. I get stuck one, just when I am about to finish I hear yelling from downstairs.

"There is no way in hell!" Mum yells "Me and Chiyo are happy here! Beside she has school and friends!"

"Think about it! It will do us good to get away from the city!" Dad yells back.

Sighing I turn my TV off not caring about my game anymore. Grabbing my earphones and mobile phone, I take of my converses and socks and lay in bed. I don't bother about my shorts of shirt. Put my earphones in I play music blocking out the sound of the yelling from downstairs.

I see Cho jumping onto my bed. He curls up right beside my face so he is looking at me. He shuts his blue eyes. Smiling I stroke his white fur shutting my eye too.

Listening to the sound of calm music I drop into a deep sleep dreaming of happy things. Mainly watermelons and zombies.

Walking towards the school in the correct uniform I yawn. I had a really good sleep and a really great dream but I am still tired and I woke up earlier because Cho kept licking my fast.

"Good morning Chiyo" My friend Ema appears beside me with Yusuke our other friend.

"Yo" Yusuke says giving me a nod.

"Hey guys" I smile "Ema! I managed to complete the level"

"Really? Do you want to come over for dinner tonight and afterwards you can show me?" Ema asks me.

"H-Hey" Yusuke says looking at Ema.

I know Yusuke has a crush on Ema, I have known for a while now hehe. But I wont say anything to either of them.

"I would love to" I smile nodding once and quickly pull out my phone texting mum.

"Great, I'll cook" Ema smiles "Oh I'll have Ukyo and Wataru to help me too"

"Ukyo? Wataru?" I ask.

"Oh I have 13 brothers" Ema says.

13?!?!?!?!?!?!

"Wow" I gasp.

"Masaomi, Ukyo, Kaname, Hikaru, Tsubaki, Azusa, Natsume, Louis, Subaru, Iori, Yusuke, Yusuke and Wataru" Ema says "And that's in age order too"

My mind spins as I try to remember all their names. "Wait. Yusuke is your brother?!"

Yusuke sighs rubbing the back of his head.

Ema nods once at me.

Well that is. Awkward. Very, awkward.

Sitting in class I sit right at the back. I see Yusuke staring at Ema. I just found out her dad got married to his mum 1 and a 3 quarters of the year ago. I feel sorry for Yusuke, it must be hurtful.

And I can't believe I might be meeting all 13 brothers. My head is spinning about it. I remember Fūto because he is a singer. Masaomi comes to mind as well, I think I have heard of Tsubaki and Azusa, I think they are voice actors for anime. Natsume... I swear I have defiantly heard that name before.

I'll just have to find out later today. Excitement is flowing through my veins!!
