"Can I? I mean, there aren't a lot of guys knocking down my door, nobody notices me and I'm tired of being lonely. But Kyle he sees me and accepts me for who I am and I like how I feel when I'm around him." Logan stands up and rounds on Will.
"He is also straight, he accepts you, but he isn't like you! You need to open your eyes and realise that your blindness is hurting people!" With that Logan turns and leaves the gym, leaving Will confused. Who would like him? Why would his crush on Kyle hurt someone?
On Saturday night he explained his dilemma to Sam and her girlfriend, who pondered whilst he braided her hair.
"Sounds as if my younger brother is in love with you," Samantha grunted trying to move the Tv to the middle of the room. "Do you love him back?" Will thought about this, as he tied the hair tie. He knew he had feelings for Logan, but those feelings were smothered by the feelings he held for Kyle. He never thought Logan as more than a friend, though he answered with "Definitely."
The following Monday Will skipped his usual morning routine of following Kyle around until he was in earshot and able to talk to him, but instead sought out Logan. When he found him he dragged him into an empty classroom.
"Logan, I need to tell you something important so don't speak till I am finished. I know that's hard for you so please promise me." When Logan nodded Will took a deep breath and started his speech.
"...I just needed to accept that I love you. Please say that you love me back?" Logan sighed before smirking up at him
"I thought you'd never ask."
Kyle checked his watch, 8:55 am. Where was Will? He normally was here early to bug Kyle in front of his mates. He looked up and down the halls once more and saw his best friend hand-in-hand with the nerds' kid brother.
"When did that happen?" He mumbled to himself but forced a grin on his face when they arrived at him.
"Hey Kyle, you know Logan right? He's my boyfriend." 'He's my boyfriend.' That phrase kept repeating in Kyle's mind, the one thing he has always wanted Will to say about him. Jealousy erupted inside of Kyle like a volcano.
"Aren't your parents ashamed Logan? Both their kids turned out gay." And with that Kyle turned and went into class, ignoring the look of shock and hurt that was evident on both boys faces. "He...he didn't mean it..." Will tried to reassure him by rubbing his arm, which made Logan push him off him "No he meant that and once again you're defending him over me!" Hurtful eyes looked into Will's chocolate ones. "I have gotta get to class" With that Logan disappeared into the crowd.
Logan didn't appear at lunch and for once Kyle sat with William and the girls. "Mate stop looking for him" Kyle shoved Will who had not stopped staring at the cafeteria door since they had sat down. "I can't what you said was rude, and he didn't deserve it. I am worried about him." Sam looked up from her book, "Wait what did you say Kyle?" Will sighed before launching into the story, finishing with what Kyle had said. Which earned both boys a slap to the face from Emma. "What the heck Will! You defended him!" Will looked shocked that Emma slapped him, but he had to admit that he deserved it. "Yeah I guess I did." Sam still hadn't spoken, and after he said this she stood up and walked out, quickly followed by Emma.
"Why did you defend me?" Kyle spoke in a hushed tone so Will had to strain to hear. "I don't know really, out of habit I guess. I have been doing it for years now, whenever the girls made fun of you behind your back, or told me that you were a player. I would defend you." Kyle felt pleased but also confused. "But....Why.....I mean....." Will sighed and looked into his eyes.
"Because I have loved you since 5th grade....Not that you noticed." Kyle looked down in embarrassment "I am sorry, I did notice you and your feelings, and.... I like you as well but...I'm so confused..You don't deserve me, everyone is right about me, I am a jerk. But I promise to respect your relationship and I wish you all the happiness. I will apologise to your boyfriend when I see him, but I want to stay friends." He finished his speech by looking at the ground, suddenly fascinated by his shoes. "You like me?" After he saw Kyle smile in agreement, Will said "I forgive you but that is 7 years of my life wasted on you, I should've listened to the girls. I would love to stay friends but Logan is my boyfriend now, and I need to have some separation from you. I know you don't understand it. But please respect it." With that he stood and left to find the only boy that he wanted right then, and it wasn't Kyle.

Wow this was such a bad story. I had just finished a Glee marathon before writing this quickly at a sleepover the night before it was due. So that explains all the Glee quotes and the really bad storyline. Ummmmm yeah.... I think my idea behind it was a bit 'tongue in cheek' as I just wanted to add as much Glee in it as possible 😊
