Did it even matter? She thinks I'm playing her anyways. She barely accepted my apology or acknowledged me. Grace didn't like me being around her, it must be fucking obvious she didn't like me in general.

I'm pulled out of my thoughts when I feel Finn shaking my shoulders.

"Hey man, you alright?" He questions, taking a step back when he sees me look up.

"Yeah, I just zoned out for a minute." I murmur.

Finn raises an eyebrow at me and snickers.

"What?" I ask in a defensive tone, watching as he shakes his head as he walks around me.

"Nothing," Finn sighs, "I just didn't realize you like her that much."

"And how much do you think I like her?"

"A lot if you zone out for that long at the mention of her name." He exclaims.

"Shut up." I snap. My mood was beginning to change and I was starting to get annoyed.

"Listen, all I'm saying is that if you like her so much why not just ask her out already-"

"First off, you know I would never do that. And second off, she doesn't like me or do you not fucking get that?" I let out a long breath, frustration starting to course through my veins.

Finn grimaces.

"Sorry- I forgot you only like to fuck around." He says harshly.

"You act as if you don't do the same thing." I scoff.

"Yeah but if I had a fucking chance to-" He starts.

"What kind of bullshit are you spewing? She doesn't like me! I have zero fucking chances!" I fume cutting him off.

The room goes silent for a few seconds before I open my mouth again.

"Finn look, I'm not in the mood. I don't want to talk about her." I scowl.

"Yeah whatever." He snaps.

I see him fish his keys out of his pockets before shooting me a look.

"You're leaving?" I ask.

"Um- Yes?" He gives another incredulous look in my direction. "I know how you can blow up sometimes and I'd prefer not to be here when that happens. Good luck with that devil's trap though." He finishes pointing towards the frame and mesh on the floor.

I stand there with my eyes narrowed at him watching as he walks out of the front door and down the stone steps. I hear his car unlock in the distance, the chirp noise echoing through this big house.

I groan loudly and step out into the backyard deciding I needed a smoke. The yard lights turn on as soon as I walk outside. A couple minutes later I sit down on one of the patio chairs staring at the reflection of the moon in the pool water.

Its freezing outside but I continue to sit there absentmindedly breathing in the smoke. I close my eyes and try to lie back into the chair but the cold feeling against my arms turns me off.

The silence in this house was starting to kill me. Nobody was home, not even one of the security guards Aaron keeps posted up around the house incase I decided I want to throw a party. Aaron had left on some business trip in the middle of the week and my Ma had decided this morning to go visit him and neither of them had come back yet.

Taking in another drag I pull my phone out of my pockets.  I scrolled through my contacts searching for the familiar number I had asked Alyssa for last week. Not taking another second I tap the call button and wait to hear the voice that I hadn't heard all day, if she picks up that is.
