Blake's POV

Haley had pissed my werewolf off. He was itching to get out. I quickly darted outside and ripped off my clothes, quickly shifting and darting through the woods. My wolf took over completely and I just let him.

The sun was setting and the world seemed purged into darkness except for the soft light from the moon shining down. My mind was at ease, until I noticed how far up north we were. I instantly took back control and cursed myself for not thinking that my wolf would go and look for Leo.

Instead of heading back I walked the pack line. I was almost towards the end of the pack line when I heard sobbing and not just anyone's sobbing it was Leo's. I quietly made my way towards the source of the noise and sure enough, Leo was crying.

'Maybe it won't be too hard to get Leo back.' I muttered to myself as I took back off towards my territory.

Leo's POV

"Were you planning on leaving?" Josh asked his voice cracking, a pained expression painted on his face.

I held back the tears I felt rise up, I put my mate in pain.

"Yes," I said as a tear slid down my cheek.

I looked down and noticed that only a towel covered my waist. I looked up, knowing I was blushing, and saw a broken Josh.

"Why?" he asked and all the color drained from my face as a tear slid down his face.

"Did I do something wrong, do you not want me as your mate?" he asked as he stood up from the bed.

"No that's not it," I practically screamed as I rushed over to him and turned him to face me.

I stood on my tiptoes and wiped a tear from his eye.

"Josh I don't want anyone else as a mate," I told him as I looked into his eyes.

"Then why are you leaving?" he asked as he looked down at me.

"Because I know that I can't give you everything you want or need," I said as more tears began to slide down my face.

I felt his hand brush the tears away, he cupped face in his hand and said, "You are everything I want or need."

"No I can't .... I can't give you an heir," I replied as more tears formed in my eyes.  Josh didn't reply so I continued and said, "And your parents are going to hate me." I looked down at the floor and then I heard Josh's voice.

"Leo look at me," he said.

I looked up at him with tears in my eyes and breathing heavily.

"My parents know about you, I told them and they accept you," Josh said smiling when he noticed the little smile on my face.

"What about the heir?" I asked.

"We will figure something out, but Leo, please, don't leave me, I love you," he said, inhaling sharply when he realized what he had just said.

He turned away from me but I just moved closer to him. I stood on my tiptoes and whispered in his ear, "I love you too."

Josh turned back around, stunned. He looked down at me and then without thinking, he placed his lips on mine. The kiss was slow and gentle. My mind cleared making me forget all about wanting to leave and what people had said.

We broke from the kiss and I laid my head on his chest as he laid his chin in my head.

A peaceful silence took place until Josh said, "Leo would you go on a date with me?"

Haley's POV

Numb. I felt nothing, no pain, I felt nothing. I lay in the same bed Leo did weeks ago and I now know all he had suffered. My mind was racing thinking about how Leo was doing when the door opened.

Startled I jumped up and saw Blake stride in.

"Hello Haley," he said as a devilish grin crossed his face.

"Guards, come and get her," he demanded, snapping his fingers.

"Where are you taking me?!" I screamed as the guards lifted me off the bed.

"Oh, Haley you are part of my plan," Blake said with an menacing grin.

"And what is this plan?" I asked, curiousity noticably filling my voice.

"Something that will guarantee that Leo will become my mate," Blake said as he clapped his hands together in excitement and his smile grew wider.

'Oh shit.' I thought in my head.
