Ethan's P.O.V
"Your doing great Lauren!" I said to her. She was giving birth to our baby and she was almost done. "Almost done babygirl" I said trying to help her.
I can't imagine how much pain she is in. But she should have stopped me when she said she wanted me 😏. A few seconds later, there was baby cries that filled the room.
I had happy tears in my eyes and I kissed Lauren on the lips while she was also crying happy tears. "What is it?" I asked the doctor he smiled at me and said
"how do you feel about cutting the cord to your babygirl?" I cried even harder. I had a new babygirl with the love of my life.
I went down to cut the cord and I came right back to a crying Lauren. I gave her a hug and kissed her all over the face. "Did you hear that????? We have a babygirl!"
I excitedly whispered. "Your going to be a good dad to her." She said to me. "Your going to be a good mother to her." I said back. We were going to be parents.
Still Ethan's P.O.V
About 30 minutes later, we got to tell the family about her, give them the news. We had already discussed the name. I went out to the lobby where everyone was.
When I walked in, they all stood up and asked questions like, "what is my baby's name???" and "boy or girl?" I laughed and said for everyone to calm down.
After that I said, "thank you everyone for coming, this means a lot for me and Lauren. We are grateful for this baby and how our lives are going. Now for the part everyone had been dying to know."
I took a deep breath "I have a beautiful baby.................." Everyone was on the edge of their seats. "GIRL!!!!!!!" Everyone screamed.
"Her name is Leilani Faith Dolan." My brother Grayson, came up to me with a bro hug and then a real hug.
"Congratulations dude, I'm an uncle!" He said to me in the hug. "Thanks bro, thanks for being there for me and Lauren. It really means a lot to us, especially with Leilani."
I replied coming out of the hug "no problem bro, if you need a babysitter, hit me up. I would love to spend time with her." He said back to me.
I talked with my family a little bit. Then it was time to actually meet this babygirl. I haven't held her yet because they took her back for the cleaning and stuff.
Everyone got in the room and Lauren got to hold her first. She had tears in her eyes and so did I. After a while we passed her around and the last person was Grayson.
He held her and he whispered to her "keep your daddy up all night, just for Uncle Gray. Ok? I love you Leilani." Then he handed her back to me.
We had to stay in the hospital for 4 days in all. I really
love my family and can't wait to watch Leilani grow up with her mom and I❤️
