Nico's POV

That backstabbing, lying, stupid traitor.

We walk through the tall grass, trying to find a good place for shelter. We walk for another what I'd say was 10 or so minutes, and then we came to a clearing.

"Finally" Leo cries out.

"I'm going to try and find some food" Percy says, turning his back away from us.

We send out small groups, each given a specific task: collecting firewood, materials for shelter, food, and water.

After we set up our living spaces, I hear a faint whisper.

"Nico"

Percy's POV

I trudge along the sandy beaches, trying to scavenge for any type of food.

I must've walked about a dozen times, but I could only find some small berries.

I grab as much as I can carry, then I turn back to our temporary campsite.

"Where have you been?" Jason asks. "We were waiting for you to start eating."

Jason gestured to the fire, which was heating up some kind of broth.

"Who got the supplies to make that?" I ask, confused.

Hermione raised her hand. "My mum taught me how to cook when I was younger, so I decided to try a recipe out. It's really quite simple."

I shrug. "Cool, I'm hungry. Pass me some?"

As I sip at the steaming broth, a cold wind rushes past me.

"Why didn't you save me?"

"You promised"

"I hate you, Percy Jackson"

A dozen voices swirl around me, each voice belonging to a person that was my responsibility.

I drop my bowl, and the soup splashes onto the ground.

"Percy? Are you okay?" Piper asks.

I nod, but am unable to shake the feeling that the voices had left behind.

Nico's POV

I turn around, trying to find the voice.

"Who's there?" I call out, ready to bring out my sword.

"How could you let that happen Nico?"

I turn around again.

"Show yourself"

"I thought you cared about me"

Frustrated, I call out "WHO IN THE NAME OF HADES IS THERE?"

This time, there is not a reply. There is only the cold, empty wind.

Leo's POV

After we finished dinner, we walked back to our makeshift tents.

The dark sky was blank; there wasn't a single star.

Laying down, I stare at the roof of my tent until I start to drift off.

Flames.

All I can see is fire.

I look around before I realize where I am.

NO.

WAKE UP.

THIS IS ONLY A DREAM.

"This is all your fault"

I turn around.

"Mom?"

She gives me a look of disgrace.

"All your fault."

I jolt awake.

Only a dream, it isn't real. I keep trying to repeat the phrase in my head, again and again.

What is going on here?

Hazel's POV

At breakfast, I look around to see everyone looking exhausted.

I mean, I had an awful dream last night, but that couldn't have happened with everyone-could it?

"Geez, you guys look perky" a rather unenthusiastic Leo points out.

"Ha ha, very funny. I didn't get a bit of sleep last night" Jason says.

Although it was quiet, I could've sworn I heard him mumble "I'm sorry. I wish I could've changed what happened."

"Hazel"

I hear my name being called, but the feeling I got when I heard it was different. I hadn't felt it in a while.

"Hazel, how could you leave me?"

"Don't you care about me?"

I'm awake, so why am I reliving my dream?

*time skip*

At dinner, everyone seemed to be on edge.

Could they have been experiencing something similar?

"Guys, this may sound stupid, but I have a serious question." I say

"Well, you just contradicted yourself, but please, go ahead."

Rolling my eyes, I say "Have any of you had weird dreams or hallucinations of your past?"

As soon as I had asked the question, the group went silent.

Slowly, everyone started to raise their hands.

What is going on?

"It seems like the entire island is turning against us" I say.

"That's exactly right, little girl." A shrill voice answers.

OOOOooooOOOOooooOoOoOoHHHHhhhhHh. Tbh, I don't know what I was doing this chapter. I'm starting a huge project soon, so I don't know if I'll be able to update frequently. I'll get a new chapter ASAP.
