I'm lying here in bed thinking about what your tomorrow might look like. Blood cleans up and swelling recedes, but bruising and broken bones are harder to hide in the daylight. Will he care that you're hurting? Will he look at your face and hate himself for what he's done? Will anyone else notice?
Tell me about the girl you used to be back before you loved him. Maybe if you can remember you'll want to protect her more than you want to protect him.
