Chapter 5- The Morning After

Chapter 5- The Morning After

Sunlight was fighting through my closed eyes. There was no use to trying to fight

it anymore I stretched and slowly rolled off the couch. Realizing Nathan had left at

some point without even waking me. It was probably better that way so I was not

uncomfortable this morning. All the times we snuggled it did not feel even the slightest

bit off, but lets face it things have changed whether I want them to or not. I made my way

to my bedroom and selected my outfit for the day.

I finally selected a cute sun dress that was solid blue. I carried it to the bathroom to

shower and get ready to spend my morning with Mom and to see my parents off.

mirror I looked at my outfit from every angle. Perfect I thought as I put on a pair of cute

brown beaded earrings and headed down stairs.

match her white cargo capris and red and white striped top. She always matches her

clothes perfectly.

"Ready to go shopping sweetheart?" she asked, glancing at me with a smile while

grabbing her keys and handbag

"Yup" I said popping the ‘p’. Smiling and excited for our shopping journey, as we hurried

to the car.

The mall was a just a few minutes down the street thankfully. Mom somehow managed

to spend the entire drive on the phone with her travel agent confirming all the details of
