Little Icing Princess (JongupxYou)

"So you want to help me lick the bowl? It's pretty dirty with all of these leftover icing" You wrinkle your nose in pretend that they were really dirty.

Your cute little girl nodded her hair making both of her ponytails that was sticking out on of head bounce up and down. Her dress was drenched in water as she smiled up at you.

Lifting her up, you made her she was secure on the countertop, before handing her the bowl.

Ever since she was younger the most favorite thing she loved eating from a cupcake was the icing. That's why you knew well enough to make less off the actual cake and pile on the amount of icing she wanted.

"Aigooo Minnie, you're still cute after making such a mess"

You watch as your daughter licked her tiny fingers clean of the icing, making sure to even lick the corners of her mouth.

"More umma!" Minnie giggled and clapped like this was the best day ever. But i guess it was for a 4 year olds after eating icing.

"Oh no, not after what happened last week"

You clearly remember how she couldn't even sleep that very fine saturday night after all of the icing she had. And also remember how tired you felt the morning after.

Minnie pouted and showed you her best puppy dog eyes that she perfected. Oh how cute it was but you had stand your ground.

You touched her nose lightly and that made her giggled right away. It was one of her very easy weakness. And with that she sat contently on the counter following you with her eyes.

The last thing you had to do was pop the last batch of cupcakes into the oven and then clean up the kitchen. Which was exactly what you did until the clock showed that it was 5 o'clock.

*This late already?* You peered at the clock and wondered what was keeping him.

It wasn't rare that Jongup was a bit late on getting home lately. With the business booming, so many things needed to be done. And not enough amount of staff, you knew he had to stay the extra hours just helping to fill in.

You were hoping that he would come home before 6 since today was the day to teach Minnie her swimming lesson. It had been going for a while now.

Since that time when you all took a vacation to the beach, you learned that Minnie didn't really like being in water. So both of you were determine to help her get over her fear.

But without Jongup here you doubt Minnie would even get into the kiddie pool that they have. With or without water. There was something about him that have this affect on her.

She says that her daddy is a better swimmer but you always you she liked her daddy a bit better. Not that you were jealous... Ok maybe just a bit.

Then the door swung open with a young looking guy in a blue dress shirt. He dropped his bag by the coat hanger and shoe rack before making his way into the house.

"Where's my icing princess?!" He sang and you knew there was a smile behind those words.

"APPA!" Minnie screamed. You pick her up only to put her back onto the wooden floor. 

Her little legs ran right up to the voice with open arms. Jongup swooped her off and into his arms. “Hi princess, were you good for mommy?” Minnie held up both of her thumbs then wrapping her arms around his neck and snuggling into his broad chest. He couldn’t help but smile at the little girl in his arm.

Jongup walked into the kitchen and spotted you, making him smile widen even more. He slowly made his way up behind you, knowing that you probably already heard him but he didn’t very much care. You were surprise when you felt a pair of lips on your cheeks.

You couldn’t help but blush, turning around to see the smiley face of the husband you knew. “Hi honey” You pecked his lips and started untying his white tie. Then you turned over to the girl grabbing for your face.

“Minnie you ready to go swimming?” She nodded, “Go on and get your things ok?” You kissed her noggin before Jongup set her back down onto the ground. She ran off into another room like lightning.

“How was work?”

Jongup made little circles on the back of your palm, “Yongguk hyung is still having a tough time trying to fill all the demands. And out coffee machine broke, so no more for the week” He chuckled, obviously finding it funny.

How much he love his coffee was unbelievable. But this was why you loved him so much. The guy that always smile even though there was a problem going on in his life. He can always manage to have that smile imprinted on his face.

“DONE!” Minnie yelled by the porch screen door.

She had put on her little yellow life jacket and was clawing at the door knob that was a bit too tall for her short height. You giggled and helped her opened the door. She ran straight toward the large kiddie pool that had already been set up.

Minnie stopped right in front of the pool, looking a bit hesitant. “She’s nervous again” You sigh and urged Jongup over.

This was normal. Whenever they would start, Minnie would be pretty excited. But soon she would always get nervous to step into the water. Jongup kneeled down, a gentle hand on Minnie’s back letting know that everything was ok.

“Appa i’m scared” Her voice cracked, nearing the point of tears.

“It’ll all be fine, appa’s here” Jongup gave her a little push but she shook her head violently. “What if i come and swim with you” He suggested.

He picked her up, stepped into the pull, and let her rest on his lap. She kicked the water with her legs rather contently. You sat near the pool watching the two of them play around in the water. Suddenly a splash of water hit your face, drenching your hair.

“Ack! Oppa!”

You heard Jongup chuckled and showed his gummy smile. “Take that!” You splashed a row of water to both his and Minnie’s side and soon a big water fight broke up with smiles and laughters.
