Katelyn's P.O.V

I awoke to find myself on top of Travis. We were both on the couch.
"GAH!" I fell off onto the floor, in surprise. I looked at myself. I wasn't a (cute) baby anymore! I checked the time. It was 5:00pm. It was still light out. Hm.. Maybe I can jog to the park or something. I quietly put on my converse, careful not to wake Travis. I wanted to be able to go somewhere without him for once. I grabbed a piece of paper and scribbled down..

Travis,

I went somewhere for a bit. Be back around 5:30 or 6. DON'T try to come! (For Once!)

I placed the note of the coffee table next to him. I quietly opened the door and started jogging to the park. Irene, it's so nice out! The sun usually sets around 7, so I got time. I arrived at the park. There were a couple people. I noticed a little girl, around the age of 4 or 5, sitting on a bench. She looked scared, and seemed like she'd been crying. It melted my heart. I walked up to her and smiled, showing that I wasn't gonna hurt her. I kneeled down in front of her.
"What's wrong?" I said sweetly. She looked at me with wide eyes. Her cheeks were tear stained.
"M-my pwarents w-weft me. T-they said n-not to c-cwome w-wooking for them..." A tear rolled down her cheek. How can some people be so cruel, that they abandon they're own child?! I hugged the girl.
"Aw..I'm so sorry, sweetie!" I looked her in the eyes.
"Would you like to come to my house? It's getting dark, you shouldn't be out her in the cold alone! And don't worry, you can trust me!" I smiled.
"O-ok.." She stood up. I took her hand, and started to walk to my house. I looked at her. She had blonde hair, with a few brown strands. Her hair was in a messy braid. She had dark navy eyes. She was wearing a gray and blue tshirt, little jean shorts, white socks, and small black converse. This girls got my style! As we were walking, she looked up at me.
"What's your name, miss?"
"Oh! I'm Katelyn!" The girl smiled an adorable smile.
"I-I'm Skye!"
"That's a very pretty name, Skye!" She smiled.
"Fank you..!"
We arrived at my house. I unlocked the door and walked in. Travis was on the couch watching tv.
"Katelyn! And....child..?" He gave me a curios look.
"Travis, this is Skye" I smiled at her.
"Is that your hwusband, Kwatelyn?" Skye asked. I blush a light shade of pink.
"N-no.."
"Her soon to be husband~" Travis winked. I rolled my eyes. I went over and punched Travis' arm. Skye giggled.
"I wanna twy!" She ran over and kicked Travis's leg hard. I laughed and gave Skye a high-five. She giggled.
"Tat was fun!"
"Owww!! Strong for a little kid.." Travis mumbled, rubbing both his leg and arm.
"Dwon't underwestimate me!" She giggled. I smiled. Skye ran over to me.
"Can I watch a shwow?"
"Sure." We sat down on the couch. I took the remote from Travis, and changed the channel to Disney.
"Hey! I was watching something!" Travis mumbled. I glared at him and nudged him.
"She was abandoned my her parents today! Let her watch whatever she wants!" I whispered to Travis. He nodded. I looked over at Skye, who was happily watching Sofia The First. She looked so happy. Hm..I should probably go shopping for her tomorrow.. Maybe Aph will come. She knows more about kids. She adopted Levin, Malachi and Lilith! I texted her.

K- I found a little girl at the park today, abandoned and I'm gonna adopt her I guess..

A- OMI! Katelyn that's so awesome!! How old is she? What's her name?!

K- Her names Skye and she's 4.

A- AWW!! I gotta come meet her soon! <3

K- Ya Btw I was wondering if you wanted to help me shop for her tomorrow? Around like 2? I hate shopping.. So..

A- OMI YASSS!! It would be soooo fun looking for little girl clothes!!

K- Ok..and Haven't you shopped for Lilith before?

A- Ya but she can't really wear any cute little accessories! Ooh! Levin is Skye's age too!

Cool, I don't gotta shop alone. I looked over at Skye. She was cuddled up next to me, fast asleep. I smiled and felt an arm go around me. I looked over at Travis. He smirked and kissed my cheek. I rolled my eyes. I checked the time. It was 2:04am. Irene, it's late! Or early? Since it's already A.m? Whatever.. I yawned. I looked at Travis. He was already asleep, snoring. I laughed quietly. I heard tiny adorable snores from Skye. I smiled. They're both so cute! I yawned once more. My eyelids were getting heavy. I eventually gave up, and fell fast asleep....
