• Chapter 2 •

• Ryan's P.O.V •

As I pulled into the parking lot of the airport, I heard a recognizable muffled voice, Morgan. "Oh my gosh Ryan, its been forever!", she said opening the passenger side door. I smiled and nodded pulling out.

For most of the car ride, we complained about the lack of fast food places in our area, and just caught up on things. "So have you started looking at apartments yet?", Morgan asked. I sighed and made a left turn. "Not yet, I wanted to wait until you came home, but now I'm not sure we'll find anything.", I said. She pulled up something on her phone and asked me to pull over. When I did so, she showed me pictures of a very nice apartment, "I was hoping you hadn't found anything yet," She said, "Because I think this would be perfect for us and its at a great price." I continued to look at the pictures and smiled. I thought about what I had planned for the day and couldn't think of anything. "How about we stop by there around 1 or 2?", I asked. Her face lit up with excitement and she nodded vigorously.

I called home and said we would be going to the mall and to check out that apartment, my parents didn't have a problem with it so we decided to head off.

As we passed the never ending amount of stores and people, we started to get tired out so we sat down in the food court. We were laughing about some horrible pun Morgan had made, when we were approached my 2 guys around our age. The tallest, and first one was attractive, but not my type. The second guy looked perfect for Morgan, not too tall, attractive and chill. "Hey, my names Alan," The first guy said, "And this is my friend Max." He said introducing the two of them.

Morgan and Max instantly clicked and Alan and him ended up joining us for the rest of our time at the mall. We all exchanged numbers and spilt paths. Morgan and I drove to the apartment complex excited and nervous.

"5 Bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, spacious kitchen, and that view" I said. The Realtor flashed her perfect white teeth and nodded. Morgan stood silent, which is unusual for her, but she was stunned with the breath taking view of the city below. "It's perfect, we'll take it.", I said confidently. We signed the papers and paid the first few months rent in advance and it was official, we now owned the most spectacular apartment in all of California.
