First Day

I stare at Ricky as he walks off.

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad living here.
I blush at the thought of seeing him again.

Then the bell rings.
Nooooo I don't wanna go to classss

I've never exactly been the smartest person, I mean- when it's comes to street smarts, I'm your girl. And if you need help with basically anything- I've got you. But algebra and chemistry? Nah. Not my thing.

I look down at the piece of paper I'm holding, which has my schedule on it.

I scan the paper for "first period".

Algebra- b16- Mr. Irwin

Of course.

I walk to B hall, and look for b16.

I get pushed through the halls by crowds of teenagers, all holding papers and asking for directions.

I see a girl dressed in all black, with dark makeup and dyed purple hair.

I make my way over to her. I needed directions, so I might as well make a friend while I'm at it.

I tap on her shoulder.
"Um.. Excuse me... Could you tell me where b16 is?"

Her purple hair whips around, revealing a very pierced face and a very sharp jaw line.
She looks like the kind of girl who is subtly gorgeous. But she obviously tries to conceal her beauty with liquid eyeliner, and many piercings.

Her eyebrow moves up, along with the eyebrow piercing, and she speaks.
"B16? Yea."
She points around the corner.

"Down there, make a sharp right. It's Mr. Irwin right?"

I check the paper with my schedule just to make sure.
"Yep. Mr. Irwin."

She smiles, and as the corners of her mouth curve upwards, so does a lip piercing.

"Lucky you." She smirks. "Your name?"

"Carly."

"I'm Margo. Good luck here, Carly."
She smiles and walks off.

I scratch my head, a bit confused.
But then head off to class

I walk in to b16 and take a seat next to a group of girls that look pretty average. I'd probably fit in with them.

Then the bell rings, and my attention is directed to the front of the room.

A tall man is standing there. He has dark curly hair. And even from where I'm sitting, in the near back, you can see his crystal blue eyes.

He smiles, revealing deep dimples.

As he talks, the room gets quiet.

"Morning class, I'm Cory Irwin. You can call me Mr. Irwin, Mr. Cory, or just Cory. I don't really give a shit."

A ripple of laughter goes throughout the class. More loudly near the girls.

I think I'm gonna like Mr. Irwin.

"This year should be pretty relaxed, I'm not one for giving y'all work you don't know. And I'm not big on homework. I'll teach you enough in class... Why should I send you work home?"

A random kid says "YEAH!"

Mr. Irwin kind of rolls his eyes and keeps talking.

"Also, I'm not real into detention. I mean- staying after school when I'm already forced to spend multiple hours a day with kids? Nah."

Oh yea. I'm REALLY gonna like this class.

"So I know y'all don't like hearing me talk, and it's your first day here. So why stress? Today's gonna be a free day. But if someone walks in- I have to have a plan, ya know? So i got these."

He holds up a stack of paper.

"It's just a work sheet with simple addition problems. You don't have to do it, it's simply for the purpose of if anyone walks in and asks what we're doing. So get out your phones and anything else you wanna do."

We all begin to scramble in our backpacks for phones, laptops, headphones, etc...

"Class." We all freeze and look at Mr.Irwin once more.

"But uh, if there's any advice I need to give you this year, I'll just say it now.
Make friends. Learn. And appreciate eachother. Highschool is gonna be the time of your lives."

He smiles, and so do we.

"Anyway. Get back to what you were doing."

Best. Teacher. EVER.

Hey so how'd y'all like that?  It's pretty short but I figured hey it's something right? Please drop a comment on what you wanna see in chapters to come. I know y'all
want more Ricky, right? And more scary scenes? Idk just tell me

Also, imagine mr.irwin as a mix between Harry styles, Ashton Irwin, and theo James- i couldn't find any pictures that worked
