My alarm blasted the only song that could annoy me enough to wake up.
I don't want a lot for Christmas
"No."
There is just one thing I need!
"ITS NOT EVEN CHRISTMAS!" I yelled as I slammed my fist onto the table. Even if I'm unemployed I know I can't sleep in, especially not today.
I got up and practically threw myself in the shower to wash the sleep from my eyes. I stepped out and put on a SkyDoesMinecraft gold shirt, because why not, if the boss knew SkyDoesMinecraft I'll probably earn some favor.
Today was my interview to become a secretary for a small local media office. Secretary isn't really my first choice, but I need something to pay of loans with. I walked outside of my apartment building,
"Hey Y/N! Where are you off to?" I heard my neighbor call.
"Hey Benny, I'm going to a job interview." I smiled at the man sitting next to the building. He returned it, revealing crooked yellow teeth.
"You go gettum! A pretty girl like you will knock'em dead." Benny was sweet, a little weird but sweet.
"Thanks Benny, have a good day!"
I was totally ready, super nervous but ready... maybe I'd feel better after some overpriced coffee.
