Chapter 16

Your POV

"So, Y/N. Why were you out there all alone?" Frisk asked you. You hummed and rested your chin on your palm as you sat down on a reading chair.

"Well, I was chasing after my friend that ran away and I kinda got lost." You admitted.

"Hehe, it's alright. Anyway, want anything? Mom can bake us some pie if you're hungry."

"Mom?" You asked.

"Oh, Yeah. Toriel, the goat person earlier." They explain.

"Oh... Why do you call her your mom?"

"I'd rathernot explain it now." They sighed, in an effort not to offend you.

"Oh. Ok, so..."

"Oh, yeah, uh... Cinnamon or Butterscotch?"

"Both, please!" You exclaimed. (If you don't like any of them, just. Bare with me)

"Okay." They huffed, then ran out the door yelling, "MOOOOOOOM!! Y/N WANTS SOME PIEEEEEEEE!!"

You chuckled, and sighed, lying down on the bed, trying to process everything, and thinking about how to get back.

You heard the door creak open and saw Sans walk in. You sat back up and greeted the "skeleton". "Hi Sans."

"Hey, kiddo. Just wanted to ask ya a few questions." He sat down next to you. "Listen, I know you were not alone when you were out there. So, tell me..." He grabbed your shoulders and looked at you straight in your eyes. You were forced to stare at his empty eye sockets. "Who else wants to get to you."

"Wha-what?"

"You're not pure human, Y/N. Whoever is out there, just wants your soul. Don't trust them, kid. Whoever they are, don't listen to them." He said, gripping tighter onto your shoulders.

"Wh-why are you telling me this? Wh-why? You don't even know me."

"Listen, I know more than you think. And that's the worst thing," He sighed, releasing your shoulders from his grip.

He looked down at the floor, before raising his head and looking at you with his goofy smile and with his... pupils... back. "Hehe, alright. That's all. See ya." He walked out of the room.

"Wow..." You blushed. "Protective much." You chuckled, wiping off the sweat from your forehead.

"Hey, Y/N!! Here!! Pie's ready!!" They gave you a slice of pie.

"Yum!" You licked your lips, sniffing the scent of the pie.

Bill's POV

"Hurry up!! Who knows what terrible torture Y/N could be going through!!" I cried, completely worried about her. She could be hurt. Those monsters are going to pay.

My eyes glowed yellow as I scanned the area, searching for the souls, all of a sudden, the most powerful soul out of all the monsters appeared in front of me.

"Wha-" I ran into the owner of the soul, falling backwards, slamming my back onto the ground. "Hey!!" I snapped.

My vision returned to normal and I was face to face with a revenant, or skeleton.

"Hey, buddy." The skeleton was smiling, but I could sense his inner grief. "What'cha doing out here?"  He smiled, offering a hand to me.

I was about to take it, but noticed his smile turn slightly into a smirk as he reached for me. I furrowed my eyebrows and retracted my hands.

"Aw... what's wrong, bucko? Scared of me. No need." He chuckled.

"Alright, skeleton-"

"Name's Sans,"

"Whatever!! I know you have Y/N, give her back to us." I hissed.

"Hehe, sorry, no can do." He flicked his hand over his left eye, immediately, it glowed a bright blue.
I took a step back as he raised his hand, "Cause I think it's time for you..." He snapped his fingers as several dragon like creatures appeared around him, "To h a v e a b a d t i m e."
