Sollux and Eridan walked into the lab, firmly holding hands, and paraded their love.

"MAT-ESPRITS?!" Feferi shrieked, "I- w)(oa )(old on."
She clutched her head and wobbled around.
"Matesprits matesprits matesprits," she mumbled.
"Uh, Fef?"
"Y-EA)(?" She jerked her head up and smiled maniacally.
"You okay?"

GR-EAT!" She laughed crazily.
"2he'2 gone mad," Sollux whispered.
":33< matesprits? That's adorable! I nefur put you two in a quadrant, so I guess I have to now!" Nepeta skipped off.
"UM, CONGRATS BLAH BLAH AND STUFF," Karkat walked by.
"That's Very Nice. Almost All Of Us Have A Matesprit Now."
"GoOd FoR yOu, CaPe GuY aNd BeE dUdE," Gamzee laughed.
"His name is not bee dude!" Eridan stomped.
"Let iit go, ED," Sollux chuckled.
The small laugh warmed Eridan's insides and he clutched to Sollux tighter.
"Yeah, I suppose you're right," Eridan laughed at Gamzee's antics.
