Tonight had been wonderful. Her blind date could not have gone better. He was interesting and amazingly sexy!
"Do you want to come up?" she asked expectantly.
"I really shouldn't." His voice was so deep it almost growled.
Just then a chime alerted her to an incoming text. Not used to receiving texts so late, she glanced to see if it was an emergency.
'I'm sorry about not making it tonight. How about a rain check on that blind date?'
"I did warn you." With that the man before her disappeared, reappearing across the street, glowing eyes boring into hers.
This is my entry into @ParanormalCommunity 's #100WordScream! I am not a horror/paranormal writer so this is my breakthrough attempt. I had lots of fun doing this so I hope you enjoy!
Everybody dreads that inevitable blind date. Well meaning friends, relatives and even co-workers feel the need to get in on the act and set you up with "the perfect guy".
But what if your blind date does not go as expected? What if it's much worse?
Dedicated to the amazing @Alecc0. Thank you for helping me push my limits a little more than I would have had you not tagged me! And I didn't scare myself too much while I was writing this!
