What does feeding a dog have to do with the end of the world? Nothing. Stop thinking about it. But here is a good question. When does a dog become yours when no one gave it to you? We've had one wonderful dog in our Lauren lifetime for several years before we lost her. We had been for a while thinking about getting another one when this dog came to live at our house. It would not leave no matter what I did. I left the gate open, refused to feed it, tried to scare it, and so on. Nothing worked. Finally we gave up and kept it. I kind of get the feeling Lauren is never going to leave either.
