S Y N O P S I S

Twenty-six-year-old journalist June Aden has been in love with Isaiah Darby for as long as she can remember. College, after college, forever. But things are different now. He's dropped shocking news on her and suddenly it's all begun to crumble apart. What's worse, June's long-awaited return home for the spring has left her family anticipating the chance to finally meet none other than Isaiah Darby himself. Too bad they're not together anymore.

But June's not about to return home alone, and so enters escort Nolan Benton, the charismatic boyfriend-for-hire who will pose as Isaiah for the next few months.

And so begins one hell of a return home, in which both June and Nolan discover that the fine line between fake and real is easily blurred, especially when you're stuck in a small country cottage, pretending to be in love.

For those of you who have followed me on my main account, EmSlough, for awhile, you will remember this story from a few months back. I took it down because it's a side project, but I've decided to put it on an alternate so those who are okay with sporadic updates can come read it here. Please remember: Do not post spoilers in the comments. Hope you enjoy the story! This will be a full length novel.
