Chapter 11

Jenna´s POV

We sat down in our seats and talked about the week until the movie started. Colin had occupied the armrest and his hand had the palm up as if to take mine into his. I could barely concentrate on the movie because I always felt Colin´s presence beside me and I still wondered why he wouldn´t deny the assumption that we were a couple.

In a kind of cruel scene I burried my head in his shoulder and he took my hand which made me relax instantly. When the scene was over I went back into my normal position but he pulled me back towards him again. He smiled sheepishly and I laid my head on his chest. The warmth of his body and the steady beating of his heart nearly made me fall asleep. He was so comfortable! The movie was over way too soon and I didn´t wanted to leave yet.

„Are you hungry?“ he asked when the credits were rolling.

„Yeah“ He took my hand again and led me out of the cinema to a chinese restaurant nearby.

„I hope you like chinese!?“ he asked. I nodded and he told me that chinese was his favourite food.

„Mine too. But I also like Italian.“ What an irony... I liked Colin but Eoin too (who took me to an Italian Restaurant). „But mostly I cook at home.“

„Me too. I love cooking and baking.“ Colin admitted. 'Damn, why does he have to be so perfect?´ We ordered and sat down.

„Wanna play 21 questions?“ I asked wanting to get to know him.

„Okay“ he smiled. „I´ll start. What your favourite colour?“

„Blue, green, brown... All earthy colours. Yours?“

„Green. So I really like your choice of clothing.“ he smiled making me blush a little. „Have you ever took dancing lessons?“ he asked surprisingly.

„Yeah, I take ballet lessons and sometimes hiphop. How did you know?“

„The way you move...“ he blushed a little which was so adorable too. „What are your other hobbies?“

„Well... I love dancing, like you already know. I really like to read and also to watch movies. But my greatest passion is probably music. What are your hobbies?“ I asked.

„Reading as well and my job is kind of my hobby too. Also I like cooking like I already said and I really like being in nature. What instrument do you play?“

„I play the piano, guitar and a little e-bass. And I just started to play the violine. And nature is one of my hobbies too. I love hiking! Do you play an Instrument?“

„Well...“ he began, „I play the Bodhran (Irish drums). Whats your favourite band?“

„I have many... I like Ed Sheeran and James Arthur. Bloc Party, Death Cab for Cutie, Kings of Leon and Story of the Year are some of my favourites. But I listen to nearly any kind of music like Eminem and classic...“ I listed.

„So we basically listening to the same music.“ he said smiling. „What do you dislike?“

„Horror movies, violence, too many people and spiders. You?“

„Crowds as well, war and herbal tea.“ I started laughing when he said herbal tea.

„Most annoying habit?“ I asked curiously.

„Mhh... depends on what is annoying you. But I think it´s annoying that I don´t talk that much and you have to squeeze most out of me. Yours?“

„That´s okay... I usually don´t talk that much either. My bad habit is that I always want to sleep. I´m always tired or hungry.“

„I can deal with that“ he said smirking. „How many siblings do you have?“

„Five.“

„Woah, thats a lot!“

„Yeah, I have two brothers. One older, one younger and a younger sister. Then I have a half brother from my father and the new husband of my mother brought a step-brother.“ I tried to explain my complicated family.

„I only have an older brother.“

We told each other about our siblings and parents and shared quite some laughs.

„You´re not british?“ Colin asked surprised.

„No, I´m actually german. But I always wanted to move to London so I did a few years back.“

„But you have an british accent. Even a little irish I would say.“

„I just catch on accents real quick...“ I said.

„Why did you move to London?“ Colin asked me looking intensly into my eyes.

I hesitated at first thinking back to that awful feeling of feeling somehow lost. „Back in Germany I never felt home, I never felt like I belonged somewhere. But here I can finally be happy because I feel like I should be here.“ I said deep in thought. After a moment I added „So...back to our game. Why acting?“

„I always wanted to be an actor. It´s like an instinct for me. Does that make any sense?“

„Yeah, to me at least. My job is a little bit like that too.“

„Why do you choose to become a designer?“ he asked.

„In my job I am surrounded by beautiful things. And it´s a great feeling to create something or to make someone else´s life a little bit better because they´re happy in their home.“

„Sounds like a good job!“ he compliments.

„Thanks! I like yours too.“

„You were really good last week. You should really try it out! I could talk to some people to get you in.“

„Maybe someday but now I like what I´m doing. But thanks anyway!“ I smiled at him genuinely.

We were interrupted when the waitress told us that they were closing. We have talked for a couple of hours but it felt like 10 minutes. He paid even though I protested and led me out of the restaurant.

„I´ll walk you home.“ Colin said and I remembered that I came here with my car. But I could just pick it up tomorrow.

„I´d like that.“ I smiled and we began walking.

He took off his jacket and laid it around my shoulders. I gratefully accepted because it got quite chilly. 'Hmm he smells so good´ I thought. He took my hand once again. His hands were so soft and I couldn´t help but to notice how perfect my hand fitted into his. We walked in silence, but it wasn´t uncomfortable. We just enjoyed each others company and the feeling of our hads intertwined.

After a couple of minutes it began to rain. I love rain so I started dancing a little. Colin laughed and joined, twirling me around. But when the rain got heavier we began to run towards my apartment. Arriving there we stormed through the door completely soaked. We laughed while we wrung out our clothes, a lot of water coming out. When I stopped I noticed how close I was to Colin. He stopped laughing as well and took even a step closer to me. Our faces were inches apart and I wanted to close the distance between us so badly I bit my lip and asked „Do you wanna come up?“

„I shouldn´t. I don´t trust myself around you.“ he said while his gaze flickered from my eyes to my lips. He backed me into the wall and put his hands next to my head on either side without touching me at all. He slowly bend down and my heart was pounding so loud I thought he could hear. His mouth wandered to my ear and his nose softly carassed my cheek in the process. My eyes closed enjoying every second.

„Good night love“ he whispered and gave me a sweet kiss on the cheek. And with that he left, leaving me totally dumbfounded.

I´m sorry for not updating so long! But I was in London for a week and had tickets to see Colin in The Tempest. As Katie once said "He´s ridiculously talented". And he´s a genius! The best play I´ve yet seen! It was so funny and touching at the same time. Sadly it´s gonna be over soon so I won´t have another chance to see it again. And even more sadly I missed to see Colin afterwards on only a few seconds :(

To make up for it I´ve seen that this story has already 320 reads! Thank you so much!!! I freaking love you guys! Hope you like the new chapter!
