"I can't eat that," Demi groaned as Wilmer came into her bathroom with a tray of white chocolate covered strawberries that he had gotten from Godiva. They had come back from the restaurant and decided that they didn't want their night to end yet so Demi had drawn them a nice hot bath with her favorite bath bomb from Lush while Wilmer went to get their dessert.

"Demi, do you know how much I paid for each of these strawberries?" Wilmer was half joking but he was also serious. Godiva strawberries were expensive for absolutely no reason but he knew that Demi loved them and he would do anything for her, even if that included spending $4 per strawberry.

"I'll pay you back. Wil, I really can't eat that. I have events coming up. I already got fitted for my dresses..." Demi trailed off as Wilmer rolled his eyes but set the tray down on the table next to the tub before sinking down into the warm water.

"You're so far away," Demi whined before she moved around in the tub and relaxed against his bare chest. He wrapped his arms around her and held her as close as possible, taking in her beautiful scent and her warm skin that was glowing in the candlelight. Even though he knew that it wasn't true, it felt like all of their problems had magically been fixed with the two of them just taking time out for themselves to be together. It was so nice being out and not having to worry about the custody battle or the kids or work. Wilmer wished he could get Demi to do it more often but the only time she seemed interested in going out was when it was for one of her events.

"I love you," Demi whispered into the silence of the bathroom. She was still hesitant with that phrase but saying it to Wilmer felt easy. It felt right. It felt like he loved her just as much and wouldn't take her words for granted, unlike the last man that she had in her life.

"Te amo, mi hermosa," he said as he kissed her shoulder and a wide grin spread across her face.

"I know what that means!" Once her giggles died down, she turned around and caressed Wilmer's cheeks with her soapy hands and slowly leaned in. Deciding that she was going too slow, Wilmer met her halfway, their lips meeting as his hands entangled in her hand to deepen the kiss. She sighed into his mouth as he brought her closer to his body, trying to put all of the love and respect and dedication that he had for her into the kiss, not knowing when they were gonna get another moment like that.

"Okay, I know how you feel about interviews, but Demi we need to do something. This custody battle is dragging on and it's great that you and Wilmer are public now but that's not distracting anyone!" Cathy exclaimed as she rudely interrupted Demi's lunch break the next day.

But Demi wasn't listening. Her hand was running over the large hickey that Wilmer had left on the side of her neck by her collarbone last night, probably rubbing off all of the concealer that she had put on it this morning. She was chewing down on her bottom lip which Wilmer had bruised this morning because he had kissed her extremely hard when he said goodbye. Her other hand was running through her hair and smiling at the fact that it was no longer straight because Wilmer's hands had messed it up.

"Demi!" Cathy snapped her out of her thoughts and she tried to wipe the dazed look off of her face but based on the look on Cathy's face, it was still there. She cleared her throat and pursed her lips as she sat up a little bit.

"I'm sorry. I'm listening. What do you need me to do?" Demi asked, but Cathy was gawking at her. Since when did Demi apologize? It wasn't that she was rude and bitchy all of the time but Demi didn't really apologize that often, especially not to people who worked for her.

"Uh, an interview. You need to do an interview. Katie Couric, Oprah Winfrey, Dianne Sawyer...somebody! You need to get this cleared up!" Cathy said as Demi shook her head.
