"By the sweet sorrow shadows. I shall hold thee tight. Know not fear...this shall be thy's final tear"

Her face was still and frozen. A pure white blanket of fresh fallen snow. The girl barely blinked or breathed, as she casted her cold grey eyes over the two bodies, which laid at the foot of her diamond heels. A man and a lady laying side by side, their faces gray and smeared in thick globs of dry sticky blood, their open eyes now gazing in a different world. The girl bent down slowly, her face still a mask from any emotion, and reached a steady gloved hand out to close the eyes of the bodies. Rivers of rose red blood ran rings around the kneeling girl, staining into the folds of her blue silk dress which dragged on the marble floor tiles,

"Princess? We are to leave now" The girl ignored the voice which called to her, and stared at the tumbling blond cascade of hair that flowed around the dead women, and then gazed at the face of the dead man, who even in death seemed to still look proud and powerful,

"Princess Skye? The horses have to leave...we must to go now" Finally Princess Tehya Skye tore her blank bottemless eyes away and stared at the maid-servant who hovered beside her,

"This is my home. I refuse to leave" Her voice was soft yet it still held the power of royalty and echoed loudly around the circular room bouncing on the swirls of the white flower wallpaper,

"Please.... Princess" The maid begged, "I have been told to see to you. I have been given orders to take you to the carriages" Her eyes were wide with worry, they kept darting to the blood-covered bodies that laid dead on the floor,

"I refuse to leave" Tehya said again,

"Always stubborn aren't you? Perhaps the guards could escort you away?" A deep voice beckoned loudly into the room followed by heavy footsteps tapping on the marble. Tehya watched a strong man enter the room. The very air around him seemed to radiate power and strength. His hair was short and deep charcoal black, his eyes green like fresh summer grass. Along the man's tanned skin a small scar slivered down his cheek. He wore a black suit with a pearl white shirt hiding beneath it, small specks of blood still stained the collar. Tehya straightened herself and glared at the man. The look of hate embellished of her young face was all too clear,

"You can not force me from my own castle Mr Blairs" Even as scared as the Princess was her words were controlled. Her voice as cold as the white floor on which she stood apon,

"You have no say in the matter Princess seeing as the king and queen are dead. I am king now until you become of age. I therefore, can by law force you out of...my castle" Mr Blairs grinned at her outraged face, "However... if you could come willingly...it's no longer safe here" He outstretched a fresh white gloved hand towards her. Teyha lifted her chin up high and rose her heels from the pools of blood. She stared him in the eye almost as if trying to hurt him with her hate, and without a further glance at the lifeless bodies of her parents she stepped out the room.

Hey everyone. So here's a quick note about TIS. The time era in the book is late 18th cen..of course England had their own royal family which was not Teyha Skye, and of course if a king/queen were to die the next in heir would take the throne no matter what their age! But I like the idea of Mr Thomas Blair being in charge. He is mean, cold and deep! I like a baddie with some depth :P Anyhowz carry on reading my little friend! I hope you enjoy the story as much as I did thinking it up!!!! (BTW in some chapters i have wrote thomas's name as Edward i am slowly editing that out) :)
