The Missing Link (a Harry Potter reader insert story)

Robes

So, now you were here, walking around with this man that you just met, who said you should go shopping for your school supplies.

"Now, here's the list'a stuff you gotta buy." Hagrid handed you a yellow-ish colored paper, on it was a list of different items you had to buy.

"I have to run, there's a few other errands I gotta finish." After you finished examining the paper, you looked up at him and smiled.

"Alright, I think I'll be fine  finding things on my own." Of corse you really didn't think that, not at all actually, but you didn't want to be a bother to this man.

"Kay, I'm off then." He walked further down the road, leaving you to wonder what the hell you were supposed to do now. You looked at the list.

Hogwarts first year essentials
•Appropriate robes
•Textbooks for the following: Divination(year one), Transfiguration(year one), Spells and Charms(year one), Potions(year one), and Herbology(year one). I (know I left out some but you don't take every class so it's ok)
•An appropriate pet
•Year one potions set
•Quidditch broom(if necessary)

The last one seemed kinda odd to you, as well did the others, but that really stuck out.

"Quidditch? What's that?" You thought aloud.

"Ehh!? You don't know what Quidditch is?!" You heard someone scream in your ear, quite loud actually. You jumped and turned around only to see a fairly odd sight. There were two people, one a rather short, red-headed girl. Well kinda red headed her hair was a very dark red, not really natural looking. The other was a tall white-haired boy. He was currently holding one hand over his face, as if to apologize for his friend's behavior.

"Heeeyyyy, anybody home?" The girl was speaking and waving her pale hand in front of you.

"Ah! Um, I mean, y-yeah." You had no idea who these people were (honestly you don't really know anybody) but they were much more, direct then everybody else you had met.

"Do you really not know what Quidditch is?" She looked at you with a very shocked expression.

"Would you stop bombarding random strangers with questions?! We're supposed to be doing our school shopping you know!" The boy had finally spoke up, he was yelling at the shorter girl with his light-green eyes wide. She made a short "humph" noise and stuck her tongue out at the boy, then turned back to you.

"Anyway, are you new? If you are we would love to help you with your shopping to!" She had put emphasis on a few of the words and was glaring at the boy.

"S-sure, I really do need the help." She grabbed your hand and you began to walk. Soon she had let go of you and had the other boy in tow.

"So, what do ya need first?" She looked towards you and you looked at your list.

"Um, I think I need robes?" This all sounded silly to you, but the girl looked rather happy, you felt as thought you would make good friends.

"Okay! The store is just over there. We'll take you." She let go of the boy she was dragging and strutted over to the store. She held the door open for the both of you and then shut it with a "thud."

You and her were in a dressing room, while she held different pairs of clothes up to you. You remembered something, you didn't even know her name.
