"I was told I wasn't supposed to hang out with you anymore... I'm defying my parents just by even speaking to you... I hate to lose my phone, but I still wanna talk to you... I guess this is a goodbye..."

"YOU BITCH! I DIDN'T SAY THAT! HOW DARE YOU TELL ME ALL THESE THINGS THAT DOESN'T MAKE ME... ME! I WOULD NEVER SAY—," "Then explain what you did to one of my friends!"

"People like you disgust me. Do you even have friends that care about you? Oh wait. They left you and sided with your enemies... Such a disgrace you are. Not even your family cares about you!"

You jolted awake to the same nightmare over... and over... and over again. By now, it irritates you to keep unconsciously thinking about the memory you tried to forget. You checked the time. 3 in the morning UnderTime. You lay down once more, trying to sleep.

"Hard night again," a voice asked.

"Yes, Flowey," you quietly spoke. "Hard night again."

"I'll get the water," Flowey said. He hopped from the drawer with the lamp (the end table as they call it), his two leaves holding onto the flower pot. Hopping, he got out of the room. Strange for a flower to be able to move like that... but he is no ordinary flower. He then returned with a bottle of water wrapped around by his stem for a body. "Here you go." He gave you the water bottle and jumped to your bed. "Let me guess... Boogie human?"

"Nope." You drank the water from the bottle, feeling a sense of relief from doing so. "Try again."

The flower kept thinking about what you possibly dreamed of. "Is it... Losing Mom?"

"Funny," you said, sarcasm filling in that one word. "I never dreamed of that before."

"I got it. I got it. Is it... Your knight in shining armor becoming the disrespect in aluminum foil?"

"I gave up on trying to find a guy that likes me a long time ago."

"Oh." The flower 'sat' next to you. "Then I can't really read your mind then."

You picked up the flower by his flower pot. "It's okay. If you were, you'd just be bawling your eyes out."

By then, he hopped out of your hands and in a rush to to leave your room...

"...I think I spoke too soon."

The flower came back, only to be accompanied by a 'monster' lady. She wore a purple and blue dress with white sleeves, an emblem sewed on the front of the dress. Her fur seemed nice and soft, and she had an expression of concern on her 'goat' face. She rushed to your side. "Is it true," she asked in a gentle yet worried voice. "You're having those rough memories again?"

You didn't want to concern anyone in any way, but keeping quiet isn't the option you have around her. With honesty, you spoke. "Yes, Mum."

She ran up to you and hugged you. "Child. Please don't cry. Of course such a thing came from the past, but don't let it get to you." Next thing, she cradled you in her arms and swayed back and forth. "You're too special and kind to receive those types of dreams." Setting you back down on the bed, she got up. "I'll bake you a pie. Snail or butterscotch cinnamon?"

"B-scotch," you said.

"Alright. Please rest or read a book while I bake the pie." She walked out of the room, attempting to hide the worried expression on her face.

Flowey hopped onto your lap, the flower pot slightly hurting your knee from the impact. "Don't sleep. The bad dreams will return, and I know it although it happens once in a blue moon."
