AILEEN'S P.O.V.

I am summoning all kinds of spirits to help me find the perfect job for me. That's the dramatical version of "me reading a newspaper while eating cereal this morning help how can I find a job?!

Why do these jobs are impossible to work to for a low salary?! It's a nightmare. I'm already halfway and none of these jobs fits my skills. I will end up badly at this.

"Found something?" Freezy beams.

I sigh. "None at all."

"Don't give up." He pats my shoulder. "What was your job back in Manchester?" He asks as he sits down.

"I was guarding flowers." My eyes didn't leave the newspaper.

"Really?" He takes a sip of his coffee.

"Yea." I lay the paper on my lap. "I like that job. I don't really know the exact reason. Maybe the idea of nature just inspires me to do that job." It became quiet. I wonder at the flat. Recreating the time when I was just sitting in a broken chair, waiting for a customer. Sometimes I would ditch work and take a short stroll leaving nobody on guard. And there I met my two best friends. Lyca is working in a gadget store, and Steve is working as a waiter. We became best friends on that day. Maybe weird, but it was the three of us, against the world. Not today, nor yesterday. Not tomorrow either. "Hmmp." I hum as I get back from my waves of thoughts.
