Song of the chapter: No Role Modelz by J. Cole. Pretty sure everyone has heard that song, but I still love and listen to it daily 😂

I woke up surrounded by a group of heads.

For a second I thought I had been abducted by aliens.

My vision cleared and I saw my mom, Mason, and Johnson all gazing down at me.

"What, do I have something on my face?" I reached up and touched my face, checking to see if there were any crumbs on my face.

"No, sweetie. You just have a bruise forming on your face." My mom said smiling, acting as if that was a good thing.
"What?! Why?" I questioned. Then I remembered I got hit with a bat.

Come to think of it, why was I hit in the face with a bat?

"Why was I hit in the face?"
"There were reports of a robber in the neighborhood, so Mason and I were prepared for intruders."
"Obviously not, the door was unlocked."
"Oh..oops." My mom laughed.
"Whatever. How long have I been out?"
"About 15 minutes."
"Oh, so not that bad. Johnson, we still on for the mall?"
"You betcha!"

With that, I hopped of the couch, until I felt pain on my forehead.

"Uh mom? Can I have some motrin?" (idk how to spell it; it's a pain reliever whoops)
"Sure sweetie."

She walked over to the kitchen and grabbed the bottle of pills sitting on the counter. She then proceeded to bring it to me.

I took the bottle gladly from her hands, popped one in my mouth, and gave the bottle back to her.

Then I slowly walked upstairs to get ready for the mall.

I showered, got dressed, put a little bit of makeup on, and I was done.

By the time I was done with all of that, the medicine kicked in and the pain started to subside.

I jumped downstairs because I was really excited. It was like a mini date!

My mom informed me that Jack was already in the car waiting, so I waved Mason and her goodbye, trotting out the doorway.

I hopped into the passenger side of the car, the best seat in the car.

Johnson turned on the radio, and Down in the DM came on.

Johnson started rapping to it, hitting every note perfectly.

"Wow you really can rap." I stated, impressed with his abilities.
"Yep. It's one of my many attributes."
"Oh, stop using fancy words. Just say qualities, smart-donkey."
"I will have you know, I am much more intelligent than any donkey, even if the donkey is quote on quote, smart."
"Chill."
"You're right, I didn't even like that dog." He said dreamily. (yoooo my brother looks a lot like Danny Gonzalez it's crazy)
"Stop making vine references every 5 seconds."
"You're the one that needs to chill."
"Just drive, stupid."
"I do not appreciate those nicknames."
"Idiot."

He just glared me.

We later arrived at the mall, and Johnson decided to stop his childish game of silence, aka the silent treatment.
