After Produce 101, another show will come soon through Mnet, Boys 24.

Yes guys! It is Boys 24, which means there will be 24 members in this special Kpop project group!!! CJ E&M has invested 25 billion won which is nearly $21 million U.S. to do this special Kpop project. Some of you might have heard about it but these 24 male trainees will be selected through audition. The audition has already started since 18th of January and ended on 19th of February 2016.

Through this show, Mnet will broadcast the audition program, featuring the selection process, how these 24 male trainees will get their training, how they will prepare for the 365 days straight concert and much more. Among these 24 male trainees, the best trainees will get the chance to debut under the company itself.

Mnet has not announced yet as to when they will broadcast this program but it will be aired within 2016.

Now it's the boys' turn! "Boys 24", a large scale K-pop project led by CJ E&M, has received its premiere date of June 18 at 11:30PM KST.

Breaking through an intense competition rate of 220 to one, 49 talented boys will compete each week in units for the final spot in a group of 24. Those 24 boys will then win the opportunity to perform live on various stages for one year, all 365 days, in different units. After these live performance missions, the final unit will debut as an idol group.

When previous survival shows have emphasized the importance of the individual, this show will focus on the unit, encouraging good team work. The best unit will win 200 million won (approx. $171 220) of investment into their music production and unit activities promotion. The best of the experts in the vocal, rap, and dance industries will be on hand to help them.
