Darry: he found out there was a try out for some town football team, and he really wanted to try out, so you and a couple of your friends went to watch, and cheered him on the whole time.
Steve: he wanted to compete in a rodeo, so you helped him train and you were there cheering him on when he competed and got second place, his first time ever competing.
Two-bit: he wanted to try stand up comedy. You guys would stay up late and he'd just tell you jokes and skits to practice, then on the actual night of the stand up, you were front row and he did amazing, the whole crowd was laughing. You congratulated him with a kiss after.
Johnny: he wanted to study more to help improve his grades, he'd come over to your house and you'd help him study, ask him questions and kiss him everytime he got a question right, his history grade went from a 45% right up to 71%.
Ponyboy: he wanted to write a book. You and him would sit outside and think up scenarios and he would jot them down, then for your birthday he gave you the book, with a bunch of little stories that you helped him cow up with.
Sodapop: it was unusual and unexpected for you but he wanted to play the saxophone In a jazz band... He was always talking so you figured he might be good. You go with him to practice and let him practice for you, he had a gig one night and you went and were blown away, then him and his band detected a song to you.
Dally: he was looking for a job, to support himself and you. He wanted a place of his own, so you went around town with him handing out applications, he eventually got a job as a janitor for the Dingo, it wasn't much, but it was money and Dally owed it all to you for thinking of the Dingo as a place for work.
