Chapter 38
Tris POV:
Four wasn't in school today. I hope he isn't really ill or something. He's been really quiet at school lately. I text him when I get home from school to check he's ok.
🐯- Tris 😎- Four
🐯- Hey you ok?
😎- Yeah why
🐯- You've been really quiet lately and you weren't in today.
😎- Yeah I think. Can you come to the treehouse in the next 10 minutes? I need to tell you something important.
🐯- Sure
Four POV:
I arrive at the treehouse before Tris. I sit and think about leaving to live with my dad. I could actually do it. Shai isn't a misbehaved child and so mom would be fine with her. But what if they ever need anything? I've always been the one to fix things in the house, and make sure Shai got her lunch in the morning, the one who did the cleaning. Will they be able to cope without me? I sigh heavily.
Then I feel Tris climb up the ladder and sit next to me. She hugs me and I hug her back, for a while I hold on. Thinking too hard and forgetting I have to let go. "Four I don't think your ok." She says into my shirt.
"You can tell me anything you know?" She says giving me a small smile. I nod and take a breath as I explain what happened.
