My fist didn't connect with his face.  Instead, cold fingers wrapped around it.

"Easy tiger," the owner of the fingers said.

It was then that I opened my eyes and dared a look at him. Though, I didn't need to. There was only one person who called me that. As I saw him my heart filled with relief and anger. Relief because it wasn't really a stalker. I didn't know what I would have done because my fighting skills were a total failure. Anger because he is freaking everywhere.

"You!" I accused.

"Were you expecting someone else Anderson?" he teased.

I ignored him.

"What are you doing here?  And what's with this stalkerish outfit?" I pulled his hoodie down.

He hastily pulled it back up and looked around.

"Don't try that again," he warned.

"Aww! Little pop star is afraid of getting mauled by his fans," I cooed.

He rolled his eyes at me.

"Fancy seeing you too," he said sarcastically.

Why am I still here?

Yeah, cause I was a fool.

"How would I know that?" he said.

I looked at him, confused.

"What?"

He smirked.

"Old habits die hard. You were talking to yourself silly," he said.

No need to tell me I said that aloud because I knew. This talking in head thing was getting way out of hand. Being in politics or a secret agency was totally out of my league because my brain to mouth connection was resistance free.

He took off his shades and I became breathless for a while. I had forgotten how blue his eyes were. The most beautiful shade of blue I had seen.

Do not go there, Ellie. His eyes might look beautiful and captivating but it was all just a delusion. In his mind, he was thinking new ways to torture you.

Focus.

I picked the dress that I was gonna buy and moved to go out of this place which Asher had graced with his annoying presence.

But of course, life ain't that easy.

He grabbed my arm and stopped me.

"Are you leaving already Anderson? We just met," he said with fake sadness.

"Wish we had never," I muttered.

"I would love to have a lunch with you but seeing how busy you get you won't be able to make it. So, I'll be leaving now," I said in sickly sweet tone hoping it would annoy him or something. But that didn't happen. Instead, he was smiling and it was doing weird things to me. Weird funny things.

He opened his mouth to say something but got interrupted by an overly girly voice. You know the one that makes you cringe. Yeah, that one.

"Oh my God! I thought I saw you!"

Well, obviously.

This was Rachel Summers. A very tall blonde. A few years back, two to be precise she used to go to our school. She was a senior and a queen bee. She had everything you need to climb the top of the popularity food chain. She was the mayor's daughter after all and was insanely beautiful. But that was all she had. She was as dumb as a chicken. Apparently, there was no procedure for brain transplant yet. If there was I was sure she would have gotten it.
