Natalia on the side! :D

Am I just a fool?

Blind and stupid for loving you

Am I just a silly girl?

So young and naíve to think

You were the one who came

To take claim of this heart

Cold-hearted, shame you'll

Remain just a frame in the dark

Grand Piano - Nicki Minaj

Chapter Five - Silly Little Girl

Viola's P.O.V

"Can I have a shirt?" Zain threw one of his shirts at me. I didn't want to be so exposed, so I quickly slipped the shirt on. I know he has seen my body before, but I was still a little shy.

"What are you going to tell Violet when you see her?" I didn't think of that. I know she wouldn't tell our parents because I cover for her all the time, but I didn't feel like dealing with her questions.

"I'll tell her I was at a friend's house."

"What friends?" Ouch.

"Just drive me home." I stood up and started walking over to the chair to get my clothes. Zain grabbed my arm then pulled me closer to him.

"I didn't mean it like that, Viola. Tell her you were at your friend's house and you got back when she was sleeping. I'll make sure to get you back before she wakes up. You know how she wakes up really late." I knew it probably wouldn't work, but it was worth a try.

"Okay." Zain bent down and pressed his lips to mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back.

I knew we would never be anything serious, but we needed each other. I don't know what I would do without Zain. I know he's not perfect, but he's a good person. If people got to know him then they could see the good side.

I didn't stay over his house ever, but when I did stay late, we cuddled and had the best conversations. We were each other's personal diaries.

"It wasn't my choice to be apart of this gang. If I wasn't forced then I would probably be in college right now." I kissed his neck when he sighed. "I don't want my little sister growing up in this shit. GG is just an innocent girl."

Zain had a four year old sister. He wanted to take her away from his mother so bad, but it wouldn't work. I doubt his mom would even let her go with him.

"I wish I could change things. I wish I could start over. Sometimes I feel like my life is one big fucked up dream, and I'll wake up and laugh about it." I could tell he was starting to get really upset, so I moved closer to him and wrapped my arms around him.

"You can change things, Zain." I smiled when he looked up at me. I could see the hope in his eyes, and that made me happy. It was gone as soon as his phone started ringing.

"I need to take this." I grabbed his hand when he tried to reach for his phone. "Viola, I can't." I sighed and moved away from him.

"Hello? No, I'm not busy." I frowned after he said that. I knew I wasn't anything special, so I don't know why that made me upset. "All night? Yeah, whatever." Zain turned to me as soon as he hung up.

"What?"

"I need to take you home." I was looking forward to spending the night and seeing how it would be like if this relationship would ever go somewhere.
