"Did anyone do the reading?" Coach asked, slamming the book on the desk.

You ignored him, drawing random figures on your paper.

"What about you, y/n?" Did you do the reading last night?" Coach asked as everyone turned to face you.

"No-"

"Wait, let me stop you there, you didn't read because what? What's your excuse this time?"

You have had up to the ceiling with stress lately, you just snapped.

"No excuse this time, I'm not reading that damned book," you snapped, staring at Coach. "How is reading this book going to prepare me for life? How is learning about a boy who got stuck in a concentration camp because he's too damn stupid to use his eyes?"

He opens his mouth to say something, but you cut him off, your voice rising.

"What is reading the damn book going to do for you?" you yelled. "Is it going to raise your paycheck? No, because you're going to be stuck in minimum wage for the rest of your life."

It was dead silent.

Everyone was staring at you, mouths agape, shocked at your breakdown.

"Oh no she didn't." Someone said as you got up, running from all their lingering eyes.

You ran into the bathroom, locking the door behind you, sliding your back down to the floor.

'Oh god, what are they going to think about me now?' You thought. 'Maybe I'm crazy, maybe I'm having a mental breakdown'

You were always quiet, no matter anything you always kept to yourself.

You had the small, school girl crush, you were making straight A's.

And then your parent's decide to divorce, making your entire life fall apart.

Making everything bubble up inside you until one thing ticked you off, and just like that, you whole life was turning upside down.

Your grades soon fell into the ground, you were irritable and grumpy all the time, all your friends hated you now.

And you just made yourself a freak.

Someone knocked on the door, causing you to jump up, swiping the tears away quickly.

You unlocked it, opening the door to reveal Stiles' contoured face.

You tried to close it but his hand stopped it, pushing it back open.

Remember that school girl crush? It was on this stupid nerd.

"Hey, let me in." He said, pushing open the door before closing it behind him.

You crossed your arms, blinking away the remaining tears.

"What?" You snapped at the boy.

"Are you okay?" he asked. You didn't say anything. "Because what just happened, y/n, that was-"

"It was what? Crazy? What are you gonna do? Huh, call me a freak? Tell me I'm crazy? Well guess what, you're not telling me anything I didn't already know."

"C'mon, talk to me, tell me what's going through that pretty little head of yours." He said.

"You don't even know me."

"What happened with your parents-"

"What happened with my parents is none of your goddamn business."

"I know it's hard losing one of your paren-"

"Stiles, seriously you don't know anything about me or anything about losing a parent-"

"Don't!" he yelled before saying in a more calmer voice "Don't tell me I don't know what losing a parent is."

"I lost my mom, can you imagine that? Sitting there everyday, watching her wither. Her dying thinking that I was the one trying to kill her. My dad not even there when she died. When something like that happens to you, then you can tell me you know what it's like."

You two sat in silence, you staring at the ground while he stared at you.

"Stiles, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it."

"It's okay, sorry for yelling at you," he said. "You wanna tell me what's wrong now?"

"My parent's divorced as you know," you sat down on the floor beside him. "I didn't expect it to affect me so much, but it's like everything fell apart."

You wiped the tears off your cheeks before continuing.

"I was always a big believer in falling in love the old fashion way, you know meeting someone at a bar, then getting married and having kids. I want that perfect life, and I always thought that my parents had that. You know the reason they divorced?" you looked up at him. He shakes his head. "He cheated on her. With his secretary."

You started crying harder. "And now my dad is moving way out of state and I have to choose who to live with, how am I supposed to do that?"

Stiles wiped your face with his thumbs, leaving his hands there.

"You'll figure it out."

You realized how close your faces were, how close his lips were to yours.

He looks into your eyes, his brown eyes staring into yours. "Why do you care about me?" You whispered.

"Because your worth caring about."

Then you were kissing.

He leaned down, pressing his lips against yours. Your lips moved perfectly in sync, his warm lips moving against yours.

"Now, I think I should go apologize to Coach now."

"Yeah, probably."

You stand up, going to leave but you turn around, pulling Stiles back into the bathroom.

"Maybe later." You said as you slammed your lips back into his.
