And stared some more.
Chills were creeping over me like spider legs, making goosebumps rise all over my arms.
I've never been this scared before.
The figure started limping up the hill, and I stood, frozen. Suddenly the figure blurred the rest of the way up the hill and stopped a few feet away from me.
I blinked, looking up into a familiar face.
"Wh - what are you doing here?" I stuttered, backing up.
He smirked down at me, stepping forward twice with every step I took back. "What am I doing here?" he repeated, moving forward again.
I felt the cold brick of the house pressing against my back, and I made the mistake of looking into his eyes.
"Let's just say" he pulled a needle out of his pocket, "I'm here for a little blood."
I couldn't move as he plunged the needle into my neck, drawing a syringe full of my blood and examining it closely.
"AB negative, the rarest blood type," he licked his lips, and I thought I caught a glimpse of fangs flashing in the moonlight. "I would drink some, but my boss won't let me."
A man in a black suit walked up from behind him, seemingly out of nowhere. Pretty Boy handed him the blood without looking, and the man pocketed it.
Pretty Boy wiped the drop of blood from my neck, sucking it from his thumb. "See ya around, AJ," he smirked, before ripping his gaze from my eyes.
He and the man in black walked back down the hill, and my vision slowly closed to darkness.
