♕ Chapter Two ♕ - What Do I Tell My Parents?

Start from the beginning

"Yes, I'm in this class."

"Then how come I've never seen you here before, huh?"

He smirked, "Because I've been busy in the janitors clos–"

I closed my ears fast, not wanting to hear any of that. "Please stop talking!" The last thing I needed to hear was how he pleased girls. Gross.

I could hear his laugh through my closed ears. I turned to look at him and he had now stopped laughing but was just looking at me. "What?" I said, taking down my hands.

He shrugged, "Nothing, Shaky."

I rolled my eyes, "Stop calling me that! You don't see me shaking right now, do you?"

He smirked. "Not now." I furrowed my eyebrows at him. "But when I come closer." He let out the words in a deep husky voice, slowly moving closer to me.

I leaned away from him. "Distance, perv."

He smirked, "You love it."

I rolled my eyes and turned away from him. "Yeah, right." I mumbled.

"Okay students! Class has started, I want you to open your books and work with chapter ten; algebra." And class had begun.

I was walking home from school without Maya and Farkle. Once we were out of school I had to turn left while they took right. It was boring, walking home alone but I had grown used to it by now since I had been doing it since 4th grade. Before that my dad used to give me a ride to and from school seeing as he does work there. But after I grew up and started High School dad had to start work earlier and he didn't want me going there too early.

I have a thing for the season spring. I never knew if it was for the flowers blooming or the sun starting to shine brighter. Either way, it was my favourite season. The flowers colours, the trees and the blue sky. It was always something I loved the most. The birds finally coming back after a long winter and their beautiful song playing in your ears.

As I turned the corner of our apartment I bumped into something. Or someone.

I lost balance and was about to fall when a strange boy cached me right before falling flat on my butt. I looked up and locked gaze with a brown haired boy with a cute smile.

"I'm sorry, I should have looked where I was going." He apologised, helping me up so that I was standing on my feets.

I shook my head, "No...No, I'm the one to apologise. I didn't look at all, I'm sorry." I let out a little awkward laugh.

He stick out his hand. "I'm Charlie." He smiles. "Charlie Gardner."

I smiled back and took his hand, shaking it. "I'm Riley Matthews."

"It was nice meeting you, Riley." Charlie chuckles as he starts walking away, only to turn around and look at me. "I hope to see you again soon."

I smiled. "Yeah, maybe."

He turned around and walked away, leaving me glued on my spot for a while until I turned around and walked inside the building. He seemed nice and he was indeed charming.
