♕ Chapter Two ♕ - What Do I Tell My Parents?

Start from the beginning

"What are you doing here?" The question slipped out of my mouth and I mentally slapped myself for not thinking before speaking.

He gave me his signature smirk, the smirk every girl would fall for. "Thought I'd come and make you company." He looked at Maya and Farkle that we're giving him weird looks. "Something wrong?"

"Nope." Farkle said while Maya said, "Yes."

Lucas raised his eyebrow, "What?"

Maya leaned over the table. "Why are you," she pointed her finger at him. "Here?" Now she pointed down at the table.

He chuckled, "Well, you see." He sighed. "I ran into Riley here and we had a little chat and now, well, I thought I should make you company."

How did he know my name? I don't remember telling him my name when we ran into each other, literally.

"I never told you my name." I narrowed my eyes at him.

"So?"

"So?" I crossed my arms over my chest and arched an eyebrow. "How did you know it?"

He smirked, "I have my ways, Shaky."

"Okay, why does he keep calling you Shaky?" Farkle and Maya were obviously confused by the situation. I never told them I ran into Lucas so I never told them his nickname on me was Shaky.

"It's a long story." I sighed and put my elbows on the table, leaning my head against my palms.

"Long story short; your friend starts shaking when she talks to strangers."

I looked at Lucas with narrowing eyes, shooting daggers at him. "What do you want?"

He stood up but kept his eyes glued on me. "Just being friendly, that's all." He patted my shoulder and I swapped his hand off of me. He chuckled, leaning down and whispers, "I'll see you around, Matthews." And with that he left.

I rolled my eyes annoyed, turning around to face two confused friends. They were both furrowing their eyebrows, arm crossed over their chest and lips in thin lines. "Well..."

"You really don't wanna know." I shook my head and sighed.

Maya raised her eyebrow, "Oh I wanna I know and I wanna know now."

Math class was the worst class. Whenever we had math time would slow down and everything would turn grey, not literally.

I usually sat on the back row, not wanting to be seen so much since I'm alone in this class. Maya and Farkle has Home Ec. when I have math. Other then that, we have all classes together.

I walked inside the room, making my way over to an empty seat in the back row near the window. I sat down and took up my notepad and math book. While I was looking through my bag for a pen someone took a seat next to me. It was weird, no one usually sat next to me in math class.

When I found my pen I turned around to my right only to let a frown grow on my face. "You can't be serious.."

He looked at me with a smirk, his eyes having that mischievous glint in them. "Well, well." He faked a surprised face. "Isn't it Shaky."

"What are you even doing here?" I groaned in annoyance. "Are you even in this class?" I've never seen him here before.
