"What do you think?" I ask Monroe next to me.

"It's in the bible not to refuse free food,". He jokes.

"No it is not."

"Yeah, when life hands you free food, you take it. No questions asked." I laugh at him and push him slightly.

We walk into a restaurant and I automatically feel underdressed. Women are wearing fancy clothing with men in business suits. Monroe doesn't seem to feel bothered by it at all.

Walter hold out a chair for me and I thank him. The restaurant is beautiful with a dazzling chandelier hanging above and pretty center pieces on each table.

Monroe leans over to me and says, "I kind of feel like the queen." I nod my head.

Walter orders a bottle fine red wine and announces a cheers to me. I blush at once at the attention.

Why is he being so nice to me? I can't help but wonder. We eat the rest lunch mostly in silence.

"So Olivia," Walt's sweet British accent sounds,"I was wondering of you would accompany me my record companies Galla this Friday? You know, just as friends of course."

"Um. No offense, but may I ask why?"

"I thought that's the least I can do. I loved you once and I would like to help you out. Introducing you into the world of celebrities so you don't have to do this on your own." He takes a sip of his wine.

I'm stunned by his words. He loved me? So stunned that I can't even speak. That's when Monroe cuts in.

"She doesn't want anything to do with being famous." Monroe says too harshly.

"Monroe!" I snap.

"She's trying to move with on with her life not hold onto the past." Monroe's eyes turn a dark and cold.

"How do you know?" Walt asks with a grin.

"She's not the same stuck up celebrity she was when you knew her."

"Maybe she wants to rediscover her past and learn how great her life was."

"Exactly! Was! She needs to move on!" Monroe yells and stands up.

"You guys stop!" I whisper-yell in trying to not make a bigger scene.

"Olivia, he's just using you!" Monroe tells me.

"Obviously someone can't let go." Walt say calmly, almost too calmly. He's still sitting in his chair with his arms crosses.

"You know what! You're right! I can't let go. Not after she's already left us once before."

"Monroe..." I say. I never knew he felt this way.

"I should have known she would eventually go back to someone with the likes of you." Monroe continues talking to Walt.

"The likes of me?" Walt says annoyed.

"Yeah, the glitz and glamour of things. You suck everybody in until there's nothing else to give."

"Monroe, stop can we please just calm down?" I try to relax him.

"You're still sticking up for this guy aren't you? How did he know you would be at the hospital anyways, huh? It can't be just a coincidence."

I look at Walt and he is staring at Monroe with a cold hard stare.

I don't know what to say. I believe Monroe, but it doesn't mean he's right. Walt doesn't know me either.

"You're never going to listen to me though are you Liv?" Monroe walks away.

"Monroe, wait!!" I'm stopped by Walt grabbing my arm.

"He needs to let off some steam. Clearly, he has some unresolved issues he needs to deal with." Walt says. Then lets go.

"I know. I just hate seeing him mad, especially at me."

"You didn't do anything. It's him." Walter coos.

"I better head back to the apartment anyways."

"Let me take you. I have my car waiting out front." He states.

"Thanks, but no thanks. I'll just take a cab. I don't think it would help this situation." I say goodbye.

Once out on the street I wave for a taxi. I see Walt hop into into a beautiful car. I am suddenly hit with an odd feeling. The car looks oddly familiar as if I have seen it before. The color of the midnight blue and the shape of the exterior of the car. Flashes take over my mind and u shake my head to rid of them.

A cab pulls up and I get in remembering the address home. Walt's car zooms past me and I let it be.
