to say
in any language
are the three words
i wish i could tell you most
i'm thankful
for the all the days
that you've lit up my life
and for the days coming
that you will bring joy
your happiness is radiated
in your smiles, laughs
and your beautiful
brown eyes
your emotions
are reflected through
your passion
of notes on pages
released by hitting
a drum in a pattern
i can see your face
although you aren't in front
of me
and all i can think to say
are the words
that are usually tucked away
i love you.
