"We have to win that game Saturday," a deep voice muttered as they entered the locker room. The same locker room, where Luke had been changing from his gym clothes to his normal clothes. The blonde hurried up as he recognised the voice, Calum Hood.

It was no secret that the dark haired boy ruled the school with amazing soccer-skills, but that wasn't the reason Luke was afraid to get caught. Luke kind of hated the popular kids ever since they joined this school (which was the same year as him, but okay). It was just because of their attitude. They were stuck up and snobby and thought they ruled the world and nothing could hurt them.

Then there was Luke himself. He was a bit of an outcast, only really good in PE and Math and Music classes. But that definitely didn't make him popular. Or acknowledged, even.

Sure, Calum had maybe once or twice noticed him, but it had been accompanied by either harsh words or pretending he was invisible.

Just like Calum's best friend and basically partner in crime, Michael Clifford.

Michael had to redo a year, making him cool because he was older and whatnot. He was still a jerk. Especially to Luke.

Either way, as soon as Luke heard Michael answer Calum, he got even more anxious to leave that damned locker room. Both those jerks in the same place as him? Nuh-uh.

But, it seemed as luck was against him that day, because right as he finished packing his bag, he heard a voice talk to him, "ah, I see Hemmings is still here. What ya doin' there, mate?"

Luke slowly turned around to face a taunting Calum, who was smirking and had his arms crossed. Michael was stood diagonally behind him, looking the blonde up and down with dark eyes. Luke gulped.

"Well?" Calum became a little impatient, raising an eyebrow. "Speak up!"

Luke flinched back from the sudden loudness of the boy's voice, his eyes widening. "I- I just had to stay back. Help the coach put stuff back."

Calum nodded slowly, back to smirking, "really, huh. Maybe you want to stay back a little longer and help me out too."

Luke furrowed his eyebrows slightly, confused to what Calum meant. He wasn't really experienced on that area, so it was no wonder he didn't understand. He himself just didn't know that.

Calum looked back at Michael, nodding once and making the blue haired boy walk off. It scared Luke a little, because what if Michael was walking around the lockers and they would circle him? He would never be able to escape them.

"I- I have to go," Luke suddenly said, nervously approaching Calum (who was still smirking with his arms crossed) and trying to pass him quickly. But Calum didn't let him go, no.

The dark haired boy grabbed Luke's upper arm roughly, shoving the boy back and shaking his head 'tssk'ing, "you're not going anywhere, Hemmings. We're not done with you."

Luke gulped once again, shaking lightly in fear. He had hoped the day of being beaten up would never come, but it seemed to have.
