Jealousy

Jungkook walks downstairs to find Halla and his mom laughing together as usual

Halla's smile on her face disappears as frown replaces it

She opens her mouth to say something but Jungkook beats her to it "yes. I know we are late. So let's go"

She glares and turns to his mom giving her eye smile bidding goodbye before standing up to grab her backpack

He grabs his backpack and kisses his mom on her cheek

"have fun at school"

"neh!" they both reply going out the door

"yaaah! Pali/bali!! (hurry!!) We are going to be late because you are just standing there" halla whines

"we aren't going to walk"

Halla tilts her head in confusion as he passes her a helmet

Finally understanding, her lips form an 'o' shape

He laughs at her reaction while putting on his own helmet and gets onto his motorcycle

Looking back to see Halla still standing there with an unpleasant look in her expression of her face

"Hal, you said it we are going to be late" he says

She quickly gets on and puts on her helmet

"you do remember the last time I rode on your motorcycle right?"

He nods

"don't go too fast this time"

"no promises"

"but-"

"we are going to be late Hal if we keep arguing" she sighs as he has once again convinced her.

She holds onto his waist firmly and tightly, without knowing it his heart began to beat faster.

He smiles to himself before starting the engine, purposely speeding up at some time to feel Halla tighten up her hands around him

She quickly gets off as soon as they arrived, holding her head as she feels dizzy

As soon as her dizziness stops, she hears sounds of someone quietly laughing

She looks at the direction to see her best friend laughing his butt off

"you should've seen your reaction"

She glares at him.

One second later she is throwing million of harmless punches at Jungkook's firm, muscular arms

"yah, you sped up on purpose didn't you!!"

"what if I did"

Before she could answer the sound of the bell interrupted

"Oh shit"

"yah lee sooji, no cussing"

She glances at him weirdly "you sound like my mother"

"should I tell Mrs. Lee that?"

"no no, we don't need to tell my mother that. Now hurry we have to go before we get punished for being late. You know how Mrs. Jung is about being on time and not late to her class" she quickly grabs his hands and runs all the way to their classroom

When they arrive they could see all eyes are on them, soft whispers could be heard

Halla looks as her sister Yein.

"It looks like she's glaring at me. Wait no.." Halla thinks to herself as she looks down her eyes widening, finally realizing what the whispers and the glare from her younger sibling was about.

She and Jungkook were still holding hands.

Halla quickly breaks their intersected hands and slowly walks to her desk with Jungkook following behind her.

A fake loud cough broke her train of thought

"care to explain?" the teacher asks

"mianhe" Jungkook bows "it's my fault"

"well since both of you arrived late and think it's okay to be late to MY class, go outside and run a couple of laps"

Halla and Jungkook both look at each other with widened eye expressions but they both look back and nod to the teacher while getting up and making their way to the track field

Jungkook watches halla put her hair up as he stretches "Hal.."

She looks at him "hmm?"

"you look good with your hair up, you should tie it up more often"

She softly laughs as her eyes form crescents not noticing that her cheeks are heating up

"thanks kookie"

They both start jogging laps; talking, laughing, which could be seen as them flirting but what they did not notice was a pair of eyes glaring at them with envy, anger, and jealously from the school building

"Lee Yein pay attention to my lesson instead of staring outside of the window!" Mrs. Jung scolded

"ah. Neh mianhe" she replied back in a monotone

Sorry for the slow update, I had a writers block for a while. Enjoy this chapter guys! I am currently working on the third chapter, I am sorry if there are grammar, punctuation, etc. mistakes I do this on Notes on my Touch when I am supposed to be sleeping and they dont capitalize names except Jungkook.
