Beware.. A little intimacy and violence in this chapter so read at your peril..

As usual, I could hear the birds outside singing their morning songs at the start of their day, waking me up for the start of mine. I just laid in bed listening to all the morning noises happening around me, but outside my room.

It looked like it was going to be a beautiful sunny day if the little bits of sunlight I see shining through the leaves of the tree just outside my window are any indication. Sliding myself out of bed, I moved over to the window and pushed the curtains aside to see what was happening out side.

Latching the curtains to the side where the hook was, I latched the tie around the curtains to hold them there then grabbed the catches at the bottom of my window and slid it up, then leaned out, closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

Yep, it was going to be a beautiful day.

After quickly making my bed, I went in to the bathroom and had my usual shower among other things we do first thing when we wake up. Which included cleaning my teeth, then after getting dressed for my day, was off to see Mack. As I usually did on a Saturday. No school, yay. That thought had me smiling.

After leaving my room, I walked quietly down the hallway passed the other bedrooms, and heard moaning and groaning coming from Mum and Dad's room. OMG, I thought, but quickly put my hands over my ears. I really didn't want to hear that.

"Psst. Hey Sis." My little brother whispered to me. "Something's wrong with Mum and Dad." He said which had my lips twitching.

"No there isn't. They're just doing some heavy duty lovin'." I said back to him in a whisper and a smile. "Let's not disturb them."

Then noticing what he's doing, I asked him.. "What's that for buddy?" Motioning to his camera box thingy that he was holding. I'm not tech savvy like he is so I have no idea what it was he was holding in his hands.

"I'm making a movie." He proudly said.

"Really, that's very clever of you. Can you show it us all later?" I asked him. I was feeling really proud of him, my little brother Jimmy. Patting him on the head, I made my way down the back stairs towards where the kitchen was with a smile.

Taking a bowl out from the cupboard and placing it on the counter, I then reached into the pantry for the cereal to pour a little into my bowl. While I'm doing this, I'm thinking about some of the things Mack and I will be doing later today.

Going to the fridge, I reach in for the milk to pour onto the cereal in my bowl, then put it back in the fridge. Grabbing a spoon from the drawer, I sat at the bench and started to eat my breakfast while looking out of the windows that looked out and into our very large backyard and into the woods beyond.

It really is a beautiful day I think again.

Just as I finished washing my bowl at the sink, there was a hurried knock at the back door which caused me to frown. Looking at the clock over on the wall, I saw that it wasn't even eight in the morning, So I wondered who it was. leaving the bowl in the sink, I made my way over to the door.

Hurrying over when the knocking happened again, I opened it to someone I never thought I would see here, especially when she wasn't made to come when we had some family do happening.

"What do you want, Rachel?" I asked her in an annoyed voice. "It's a bit early for you to be up, isn't it?" I added in a bored tone of voice, without a smile.

"I need your help." She says as she burst into tears. "Can you please help me?"

"What for? Can't you ask your dad?" I asked her with one hand on the door. I was standing in the door way and to be honest, I didn't want to let her in since Mum and Dad are still upstairs if those faint noises were anything to go by that I could just make out.
