Super unedited but I really wanted to get this part up haha

They were let in without a second glance at their ID's.

The Empty Coffin was everything you'd expect from a club with such a morbid name. The inside was quite dark, save for the white and red strobe lights that made sure you'd be able to tell who was groping you... or biting your neck or whatever the hell they did in that place. Webs, bats and some skeleton parts hung from fake stalactites on the cavernous ceiling, giving the place a more cave like feel. As a result of the raised roof the music was even more deafening than it was a regular clubs.

"This looks like the place preppy kids come to die," Kayden muttered, barely able to hear himself over the noise. It was definitely the kind of place you'd expect to find at least someone doing drugs.

Jett motioned for the three of them to come closer to her just before they reached the dance floor, huddling close to be heard over the loud music.

"Okay, Kayden, as a safety precaution pick one of us and stick with that person for the remainder of the night." Though her voice was at a regular pitch so she wouldn't be overheard, he could still hear her quite well due to how close together they were standing. "The last thing we need is you getting yourself into trouble."

Kayden sent a playful glare in her direction. He tried not to be offended by Jett babying him as she really did have his best interests in mind. Though, it did sting his ego every now and then.

"Um yeah, I think we've already established that I'm really not a responsible babysitter." Jazz cut in, "you all remember what happened in Sorrento." She added with an unapologetic shrug to make her case.

Jinx winced at the mentioning of it.

Jett grimaced "fine." She relented with a sigh.

Jazz grinned and gave a little wave, throwing a sweet "toodles" over her shoulder as she sashayed into the crowd to do her work.

Kayden looked to Jinx but already had a feeling that she'd weasel her way out of it as well.

The blue haired girl just smiled apologetically "don't take this the wrong way Kayd, you're a great guy but... well, you're not really useful."

He felt as if he had just been broken up with.

"So yeah, I'm just going to go... over there," she added gesturing vaguely in a random direction before slipping away.

Jett just sighed once more, "of course." She muttered before turning to Kayden, her ever present frown gracing her painted black lips "okay, fine, I guess you're with me then."

Jett actually had Kayden help her interact with and question the people in the club. Well, he wasn't doing much—he was basically being used as a glorified prop— but at least she didn't ignore him for the evening. The pair walked around asking if anyone had seen their friend Samantha that night, saying they were supposed to meet her there. Anyone who recognised her stated the last time they had seen her as the date she went missing but no one could say who they last saw her with.

"What's it to you?" A particularly defensive goth with greasy hair and a snarl to rival Jett's questioned.

"I think she might have been with my boyfriend." Jett replied smoothly, adding in just the right amount of suspicion to her tone.

Greasy Goth just sucked on his lip ring thoughtfully before shaking his head "I don't remember seeing her with anyone out of the normal." He finally said.

Jett nodded and thanked him though Kayden could tell by the way that her jaw clenched as they walked away that she was getting frustrated.

"Someone must have seen her," she hissed as the two leaned causally against the bar. She ran her fingers through her dark hair in frustration as her fingers tapped against the wood.
