Chapter 18

-Jin's POV-

When we all woke up the next day I looked to my side to see my wonderful wife. Finally 2 months later I can see her again! I just worry is the aby ok? It was about 11:00 am and I decided I cant stand it any more I NEED to take Jess to the infirmary and check on the baby. I shook and led her to the infirmary. When we got there I explained to the doctor the situation. He brought us to a back room with a machine and a bed. Jess layed on the bed as I stood next to her. The doctor pulled up her shirt and rubbed gel onto her belly.

He turned the monitor on and a picture of a baby popped up me and Jess looked at 'it' as 'it' moved around the baby was SO tiny! "Ok I can assure you that the baby is fine. Would you like to know the gender?" the doctor asked. I looked at Jess and she nodded. "Yes please." I said. The doctor looked at the screen and smiled. "Well I am happy to announce that it is a girl!" he said. I looked at Jess and she was smiling.

Me and Jess decided to go announce to everyone about the baby. We walked into the kitchen and everyone was eating. "Mommy why are you and daddy so happy?" Maliahi asked. Jess looked at me with an 'awe' face because he called me daddy. "Well we found out the gender of the baby!" Jess said happyily, Everyone sat on the edge of their seats waiting for the gender. "Its a GIRL!" Me and Jess said at the same time.

Everyone cheered. "Yay! We's gets a sister!" Levin said in a childish voice. We all laughed. Me and Jess joined in and ate breakfast. We all ate and talked. I ate a lot because I barely ate when Jess went missing but since she got back yesterday I started to eat more.

-Ross's POV-

They were all eating and talking laughing everyone and awhile. I just smiled and nodded along. Nobody knows this but this is the day of when my 'family' outed me. I finished eating and excused myself. Instead of going to my bedroom I went to the docks. I walked along the even cut grass in front of The Hall and Asgard towards the ocean. I sat on the edge of the dock with my feet hanging over the edge. I looked around and barely noticed Alex and Kawaii~Chan over by the town holding hands. Such a Kawaii couple. I looked out over the ocean and I could clearly hear the calls of narwhales. Only because I am one.

I never dated before afraid of what people would think of me. I was wearing blue jeans, green converse, a orange, t-shirt, and my narwhale hoodie. People always ask me why I always have the hood up. Well its to cover my narwhale horn. Its the same reason why Jin hides his 'Brain' power by getting some thinks wrong when he could get them all right like on tests, Why Sky wears his glasses to cover up his butter colored eyes tagging him as a Brine, and why Barney wears the eye patch to cover the scar across his eye.

I sat there on the dock crying thinking of all the ways that its my fault I was outed from my 'family' that was in till someone sat next to me. It was Shelby we meet the 2 second week Jess went missing.  "You ok Ross? What's wrong? "I um just thinking." I said. "Wanna talk about it?" Shelby asked. Nobody has ever really asked me if I wanted to talk about it. yes Barney does but he doesn't ask he just comforts me. I nod. "I can tell you but you will probaly hate me after it..." I said and I tell her my story. How I'm a narwhale form the point of getting outed to when I came across my friends and to now all the things I went though. Heck I even told her about our 3 year trip to find Jess. It just felt RIGHT telling her this.

She looked at me and smiled. What shocked me next was she hugged me. "Don't worry Ross that just goes to show how great and strong of a person you are narwhale or not." she said. She released me from the hug and we looked into each others eyes. Yes I have a crush on her ever since I meet her but did she like me? Oh YOLO! I leaned in and kissed her it surprised her but she slowly moved into it. Sparks flew and I just knew she was the one.

We kissed for at least 4 minutes. Time slowed down when I'm around her. She makes me happy. I want to be with her for the rest of my life. I wanna make her happy for ever I wanna be the one who makes her say 'I do'. When we released I said something I meant a million times over, "Shelby I don't know what the REAL meaning of love was in till I meet you what I'm trying to say is I love you." I said. She smiled, "I love you to Ross." she said. And this time she kissed me.

"Oh my gosh my ship has sailed!" Me and Shelby stopped kissing and looked around in till we saw all my friends with memory crystals videoing us. My cheeks began to burn I was blushing redder than a tomato. Shelby was the exact way. "Can you all please leave?" I asked tryin not to sound mean. They all shook their heads 'no'. "Well then..." I said. I turned towards Shelby and pulled her into a kiss.
