Justin POV

We got to her place in record time. And not because I'm expecting for THAT to happen, but because I truly want to learn more about this girl. I suggested that we should pick up something to drink but she said one of the perks of being single and living on your own is the fact that you can always have a nice stocked bar or in her case, a really nice stocked liquor cabinet. She even said she had whiskey and bourbon!! I really owe Jake big time because I don't think I've been this excited about getting to know another person in a long time. She is turning out to be somebody really amazing and after Olivia, I didn't think I would be able to find somebody worth spending time with. But Charlotte is turning out to be worth the time and effort into getting to know her.

We pulled up to her building since she lives a one bedroom with a loft. (she told me this while we were driving) And then I parked into the space next to her car, which is a Dodge Challenger, and got out to help her with her door. I guess she's not use to it because she gave me a puzzled look before smiling really brightly again. I really like her smile, it's warm and comforting, and just gives off the feeling that everything is going to be okay even if you're having a cruddy day. I could get use to her smile. Wait, what am I saying?! I know I need to chill but I can't help it when it comes to her.

I let her lead the way to her door and waited while she fumbled with the keys. She finally got the door open and immediately, I loved what I saw. There were red couches facing the balcony and her t.v. on your left as soon as you walked in. And on the wall to the left before you reach the hallway, there was a fire place and in the nook in the room, she managed to make it a cozy reading area with a small bookcase, filled with books. The kitchen was to the right with a couple of bar stools around the breakfast bar. Then there was a small hallway with the stairs leading to the loft on the right. The bathroom was at the end of the hallway and her bedroom was to the left. (Sorry guys, I had to peek!) Even though it was big, it felt cozy and comfortable- just like her.

"Please let me take your coat and take a seat on one of the couches. Um what did you want to drink? Or should we just take shots?"

WHOA! Did this girl just suggest we should take more than one shot?! If we do that, we will be in trouble and I truly do just want to talk to her about things. Not do THAT just yet! Let me think about this for a second...

"How about we take 2 shots and then maybe a drink afterwards?"

"That sounds safe enough. Um, did you want vodka, whiskey, or bourbon?"

"I'll take the bourbon. I kinda in the mood for something dark." I didn't even realize what I said until it was too late. She raised her eyebrow while giving me a cheeky smirk.

"Oh really now?"

"You know what I mean. Please don't let me dig a hole I can't get out of tonight." Then she bust out laughing. Her laugh was carefree and loud, but I like it nonetheless.

"Okay, I'll try to be nice but I can't guarantee that after these drinks get into my system."

"So with that being said, let's take these shots!" I said.

She shook her head and was about to walk over to me with mine until I held out my hand to show her that wouldn't be necessary and met her in the kitchen. She had a bottle of Woodford Reserve Bourbon (one of my favorites) and gave me a shot of that and a shot of vodka for herself. We raised our cups, clinked them, and then it was bottoms up for the both of us. We both made those "we-just-took-the-first-shot" face, but quickly recover so we could take this second one. It went down a helluva lot better than the first, but that's to be expected. She made us a couple of drinks (bourbon and coke for me, sprite and peach vodka for her) and then sat down on the couch facing the t.v. She turned on the t.v but put on her Chromecast so she turn on her Pandora. She asked me if I had music preferences and I shook my head no. She put on a station called, "Gooey by Glass Animals" and the first song was nice. It was by Alina Baraz and it was called, "Fantasy." The only reason I remember was because I downloaded it while she was getting comfortable on the couch. She looked so relieved to be out of her heels that I started laughing.
