Y/N and I were standing at our lockers talking before our next class had to begin. I said something that made her laugh which happens a lot.
I love spending time with her. Ever since I realized that I didn't like Lydia as much as I liked her, we both have spent a lot of time together. I really like her and I want to go out with her. The way her hair bounces when she laughs and the way her eyes get really bright when she talks about things that she likes, I just love it .
"Hey, Y/N," Allison said to her walking up to us. We had just finished lunch, which me and Y/N skipped. We ate in the library which we have started to do a lot more now. We like being alone.
"Yeah," Y/N said turning around to face her. "I have a question to ask you," Allison said to her. "What is it?" Y/N asked her sighing. "Will you go bowling with us?" she asked nervously. "And who is 'us' exactly?" she asked crossing her arms. She doesn't like Lydia very much. She makes her nervous and jealous. Well, she didn't exactly say jealous but I can tell that that is what she feels like. I want her to know she doesn't have to be jealous. I only like her. No one else. "Scott and I, of course. Then there's..." she said hesitantly. "Lydia and Jackson?" Y/N asked. "Yeah," Allison said looking down at her shoes. "I don't know," Y/N said. "I mean who am I going to go with?" she snuck a glance at me and then looked down at her shoes.
"I'll go." Did I really just say that? That didn't feel like it came out of my mouth.
"Really? That would be awesome," Allison said smiling at Y/N. Then, I realized I wasn't the one that said that. It was Greenberg.
"I don't know." Y/N said looking at me. I lost the color in my face knowing that Y/N was going to be going on a date with someone that wasn't me. "Come on Y/N," she said pulling her arm. "It'll be fun." She looked at me again and then back at her shoes. "I'll... I'll think about it." Y/N said. "Okay," Allison said. "Let me know by the end of the day."
Allison was nice. Y/N liked Allison, it was just that, Y/N really didn't think anyone liked her which put a strain on relationships. Y/N told me herself.
"What's the problem Y/N?" Greenberg asked her. "Don't you want to go with me?" he asked. I knew what she was going to say. She hates hurting people's feelings, which is another thing I like about her. "No I'd love to go with you..."she said glancing at me. "it's just that... I don't know if... I'm allowed to. I'll have to ask my parents." She looks back down at her shoes defeated. "Okay cool." Greenberg said smiling and walking away like an idiot.
"I'm sorry," she said to me not looking at me. "It's okay." I told her.
Y/N and I were in my jeep and I was driving her home. Greenberg was picking her up at 6:00.
When we arrived I didn't get out of the car. The trip here had been kind of awkward because of the whole date thing.
"Come inside," Y/N told me walking over to their front door. I got out of the car and followed her. I hate to admit it but I was kind of angry.
She unlocks the door and we walk inside. "What's wrong?" She asks me putting her bag on the kitchen table. I drop mine at the door. "Nothing," I say, shaking my head.
"It's obviously something. I've never seen you like this before," she said walking over to me. "Its just..." I say trying to get the words out. Does she really not know why I'm upset?
"I just... Don't want you going on a date with someone that's not me." A smile grew on her face and she grabbed my face and pulled it closer to hers kissing it softly. I kissed back passionately. This is something I've wanted to do for a long time.
Y/N called Greenberg and told him she wasn't coming. We spent the rest of the night with each other. I could finally call her mine.
Did you like it??? It's kind of short. The next one is gonna be great!!
