"Kellin Quinn Bostwick!" Mom yells as I climb through my window. "If you're drunk I will kill you."
"No Mom, I'm not drunk. I was just hanging out with some friends." I explain.
"At this time on a school night while you are grounded? Were you doing drugs? Were you having sex?" Mom asks horrified.
"No Mom, I was not doing drugs and I was not having sex." I sigh rolling my eyes. "I was just hanging out with some friends."
"Who were they? Were they troublemakers?" She asks quickly.
"No Mom, it was just Oli, Tay, Vic and a few of his friends." I groan.
"Oh, so you're talking to Vic?" She asks with a suggestive look.
"Yes I'm talking to Vic." I groan again.
"Did he mention last night at all?" She smirks.
"I brought it up first, and apologized but-" I groan dropping down onto my bed in confused and frustration.
Mom sits on the edge of the bed next to me and she runs her hand through my hair.
"But what Sweetie?" She asks.
"He said that he might have enjoyed it and now I'm really confused." I sigh dramatically.
"What are you confused about?"
"Well does that mean he likes me?" I grip my hair tugging at it feeling like I'm going insane.
"Kellin Sweetie, do you like him?"
"I don't know. I'm so confused." I whisper tearing up.
"Kells, this is nothing to get upset over. You'll figure it out eventually. But in my opinion Vic seems like he would be a great father and I do want grandchildren one day." She says matter-of-factly.
"Mom." I whine and she laughs before getting off my bed and walking to my door.
"Seriously though Kellin, I'll let you off this once and I won't tell your father if you promise to never sneak out again. I was so worried. Even if you want to be a rebellious teen and sneak out, come tell me first." She smiles and I sigh sadly.
"Mom, you don't need to treat me like this. I'm not as fragile as you think I am. Just treat me like a normal kid please." I plead for the hundredth time.
"Kellin, you know I can't do that. You are fragile. I was treating you like a normal kid before, then you stopped eating." She says a little bitterly.
I roll my eyes before turning over so I'm not facing her.
"Kell, don't be like this." She sighs.
"I just want a normal life." I cry as a tear slides down my cheek.
"Night Honey, I love you." She whispers before I hear the door click shut.
I bury my face in my pillow before I feel my phone vibrate. I roll back over and pull it out of my pocket.
From Vic: It was fun hanging out, we should do it again :)
To Vic: Yeah, I had a lot of fun. Thanx 4 breaking me out :3
From Vic: Anytime ;)
Why does that stupid wink make me blush?
To Vic: I'm going 2 sleep. Night Vic
From Vic: Sweet dreams x
What the fuck is up with the x? It must be a typo.
