Chapter 24: I Never Asked to Fall in Love With You!

Pearl's POV,

I couldn't take it anymore! The pain was growing stronger and stronger every time I see that devil! If I had my heart, I think it would skip a beat and start racing. How should I know! I don't have it! I sat down on a log staring at the object around my neck.

"All I have to do is drink this, and it'll all be gone" I reminded myself.

"Well I think it'll be better if you don't drink it" I heard his pathetic accent. I didn't even bother doing anything.

"Why do you say that?" I asked annoyed.

"Because, you still need to figure out what the answer of your puzzle is!" He reminded me leaning on a tree next to me. I forgot all about that! He said lets play a game, a puzzle to solve and blah blah blah.

"Shit" I cursed underneath my breathe.

"You forgot about that puzzle didn't you?" He asked disappointed.

"... Maybe..."

"There's a reason I keep you in NeverLand, a reason why I always take the game easy on you" He listed his hints he gave me during the game. Thats when it hit me like a brick! Impossible! He wouldn't! He couldn't!

"You love me" I realised. I was so shocked. I know I should be happy but I'm not! I love him too but I feel more hurt then of joy! Why? I'm suppose to be jumping with joy because my crush likes me but I don't! I feel like a piece of me died or something.

"Exactly! So don't drink the potion!" He ordered.

"Look! I never asked to fall in love with you!" I said standing up.

"I know you love me! You even confessed it in front of Felix! I heard the whole thing! Your suppose to kiss me and tell me you love me too!" He argued. His face was turning red with anger! I didn't care anymore!

"That's maybe how you planned it in your head but you need to think about reality!" I argued.

"I know you don't love me! You never would! I'M YOUR WORST ENEMY! Enemies don't date!" I continued.

"But that can change!" He calmed me down taking my hands.

"All you have to do is believe" I pulled away with force.

"That's the thing" I said with sadness. You could tell my eyes would tell a terrifying story. The story of my life here in NeverLand.

"I don't, I don't believe! I don't want or even need to believe it! My life got me nowhere because of believing!" I said almost tearing up.

"Now do my a favour and leave me alone" I said walking away.

"I didn't want to do this!" He said disappointed. Thats what made me stop in my tracks. I felt something of mine being held in his hand.

"Walk back to me" He ordered. I don't know what made me do this but setting was making me walk back to Pan. When I turned to look back at him, he was holding a heart. LIKE A HUMAN HEART!

"This is your heart that you offered me from our deal! If I have this, I control you anyway I want!" He explained. I grew a scared and worried for my life look.

"Break the bottle" he commanded. Like I was his servant, I ripped the band it was hanging on off my neck and threw it onto the ground hard. Breaking it into over nine thousand pieces (if any Goku fans get that reference!). It was my only solution, now gone forever!
