"Taylor, how are you?" Dr. Rey Braxton said calmly, ushering his patient to the chair across from him.

"Fine, thank you, Doctor." Taylor settled into his chair, slightly appreciating the covered pillow supporting his back.

Dr. Braxton adjusted his glasses and wrote something on the clipboard that he was holding.

"So, Taylor, how are you feeling?"

"Fine, thank you, now that I have some food in my stomach and a place to sleep," Taylor said, a small smile on his face.

"Anything bothering you about your return?" Dr. Braxton questioned.

"No, nothing at all. I'm just happy that I'm back home, finally settling into the college life and living a normal life again."

Dr. Braxton frowned. "But surely there must be something bothering you." He looked at Taylor's face, and saw it becoming conflicted. "What's wrong?"

"It's just about the connection to Earth that I was able to get back there, on that moon. I'm very grateful for whoever managed to pick it up."

"And, Taylor, do you know who picked up your signal?" Dr. Braxton tapped his clipboard with his pen, the clicks the only sound in the room.

He ran a hand through his thick brown hair and sighed. "Honestly, I don't know."

"But without that person, I wouldn't have survived."
