My Labyrinth

My own mind Imprisons me
Trapped within this labyrinth
Mazes crawling with demons
Some of the past some of the present
Some that want me dead
Some that want me to suffer
Struggle to find my way
Through treacherous paths
My conscious overwhelmed
Subdued by my inner inhibitions
Secluded, alienated from the world
I fade into the darkness that is my mind
My body grows weary, my soul consumed
Sanity and serenity ravaged to oblivion
In the purgatory that are my thoughts
Drained and dying, left to face my own vanity
Mad and melting left to face my disfigured reality
