Chapter Twenty

Gray's POV:

"Gray?" I looked up and saw Juvia standing in front of me, a worried look on her face, "Are you alright? Why are you crying?"

"Oh uh, Juvia, I--" I tried to come up with an excuse, but as soon as I opened my mouth, more tears poured down my cheeks. I covered my face to try and conceal my horrid state.

"Gray-Sama!" Juvia ran over to me and wrapped her arms around me, "Please don't cry... Tell me what happened..."

"I-I... Natsu... Rejection..." I could only mumble random related words

"Shhh... it's okay, Gray-Sama," Juvia said in a calming tone. She rubbed my back gently, holding me tightly, "Do you want to come back to Juvia's house? She'll clean you up and get you some rest." I didn't have the strength to answer her, so I just nodded. Juvia held my hand and started to pull me in the direction of her house. Unintentionally, I held her hand back.
