"Wh-what do we do with it?"

"Do we pick it up? Poke it?"

Oh for goodness sake! I pushed past my brothers and their friend and picked up the baby that had been placed on our doorstep by some stranger. He was absolutely adorable with his cute pudgy little fingers, long dark lashes and curly black hair. I just about melted when he smiled up at me widely, awwww!!

I held him closer to me as I watched my idiot brothers bring in his baby bag and the basket he was left in. I couldn't help but coo at the adorable mixed-race baby in my arms, how could anyone ever give away this perfect little angel?

"Alright, so which one of you knuckleheads is responsible for this one?" I asked the boys in front of me, raising an expectant eyebrow at the four boys in front of me.

My twin brother Oscar raised his hands up in surrender,

"It sure as hell wasn't me, I haven't even done...stuff, yet." He responded, shifting his glasses higher on his nose and dragging a hand through his thick chocolate brown curls,

I smiled over at Ollie, already being assured of his innocence since there was nothing he and I didn't do together. That left me with two more suspects to choose among my brothers, the choice was left between Trent and Sterling. The innocence of those two was questionable, at best.

Trent smiled and shot me one of his famous smirks, rubbing his hand over his stubble and through his spiky black hair,

"Could have been me, Olivia, I've done a whole lot of stuff," He chuckled to himself and slapped a high five with his idiot best friend Sebastian.

Sebastian laughed and wiggled his eyebrows in Sterling's direction,

"How about you, bro? You get down and dirty with some hot chick lately?"

Sterling cleared his throat and looked up at me in embarrassment. As the eldest, he always wanted me to believe that he was a responsible angel, pssh, he clearly didn't think much of my intelligence.

"Possibly," Sterling mumbled, refusing to look up at me. He rubbed a hand over his short black hair and started rummaging through the baby bag,

"I'm sure whoever the mother is must have left a note behind,"

I looked down at the beautiful baby boy and kissed his cheek softly while I waited for Sterling to find something that could help us figure out who this beautiful baby boy belonged to.

I didn't doubt for one second that this baby could possibly belong to one of my older brothers. Apart from Ollie, they sure got around.

"Found something!" Sebastian yelled from where he was busy looking through the basket the baby had come in. Sebastian held up a note that was folded in half and handed it over to Sterling who started reading it aloud to all of us,

"It's for Olivia," Sterling said in mild surprise. Sebastian's head snapped to me,

"The hell?! YOU had a hand in this?!"

I shook my head, shutting my eyes and wondering what kind of morons my brothers had for friends,

"You're an idiot," Ollie said, shaking his head at the stupidity that is Sebastian,

"Just keep reading," I told Sterling, deciding it was best to just ignore Sebastian,

He kept reading it and then looked at me to give me the basics,

"It's from some girl named Sophie,"

Ollie gasped at that,

"That bitch that used to bully you?"

I looked up at him and shifted the now sleeping baby in my arms to a more comfortable position,

"Yeah, keep reading,"

"It says that she has no other options and that she's signed your name on the baby's birth certificate as his mother. Uhm, it says that she and her baby daddy don't want anything to do with the baby and that you're the kindest and best person she knows which is why she's leaving him with you."

I blinked, not knowing what to say to any of that,

"What?!" Trent yelled, finding his voice before I could, "what kind of bull is that?! Can she do this? Can she just lie on a birth certificate and leave her kid with some girl she used to bully?!"

The baby began to cry and I glared at him,

"Would you keep it down?"

I rocked him in my arms, breathing a sigh of relief when he closed his eyes again and fell back into a deep sleep,

"Is there anything else?" I asked Sterling, referring to the letter,

"It says that she left a letter that confirms that she and the father sign over all rights to the baby, along with all of his papers and some formula and clothes. She hasn't named the baby, says she's leaving that up to you,"

I smiled down at the baby in my arms, already having a name ready for him,

"Christian," I whispered, smiling down at the beautiful baby boy

"Like 50 Shades?" Sebastian piped up, making me groan in annoyance. Trent smacked him upside the head,

"You're such a moron, bro,"

"We should call social services," I decided, already knowing that it would be the best option for the little guy.

"I'll take care of it. I'll be sure to talk to my buddies down at the station and then we can figure all this out,"

I smiled and nodded at Sterling, heading to my room with Christian in my arms.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Two weeks into having Christian in my life and everything was upside down. I barely got any sleep since Christian wakes up every hour on the hour, it didn't even help that Ollie, Trent and Sterling were trying to take turns with me. They just ended up struggling with him for half an hour before shoving him back in my arms again.

Sterling had checked with his buddies and it seemed that Christian was legally mine now and that it was all somehow registered that way in the system. It was a relief to know that I wouldn't have to worry about any of that, now all I had to worry about was to raise my three-month-old baby all on my own.

Well hell, bring it on.
